Jeremy London Checks Into Rehab

Former Party of Five actor Jeremy London has been in the media spolight since his alleged kidnapping recently. In April, Jeremy revealed his struggle with prescription medication, and since this time, reports surfaced claiming that his wife Melissa had also become addicted to prescription medication.
In an interview with RadarOnline London has revealed that he has entered VH1's Celebrity Rehab, and is "doing awesome," adding, "I’m really glad I did this. I’m here to stay sober through this traumatic time.”
London also revealed that wife Melissa suffered two mini-strokes followed by a brain hemorrhage recently, but that "she’s fine now apparently." Melissa has since voluntarily entered the rehab facility along with Jeremy.
The couple have a 3-year-old son Lyric, who according to Melissa's mother Kayla, has been living with her for two years. It was previously reported that the loss of custody was a recent one, which seems to be inaccurate. Kayla told Radar Online,
"Lyrik’s been living with me for two years. I love my daughter and I really hope she kicks this thing. Jeremy appears to be concerned. But my first priority is my grandson. Lyrik really needs a mom and a dad.”
Jeremy and Melissa met in 2000, and have been married since 2006.
Jeremy London & Wife Lose Custody Of Son

After a bizarre series of events, including a possible kidnapping, actor Jeremy London and wife Melissa have lost custody of their son, Lyric, reports Radar Online.
London recently opened up about an addiction to prescription medication, and it appears as though his wife also has an addiction, and did a stint in rehab. Melissa's mother is reportedly taking care of the couples' 3-year-old son.
Melissa, who is now renting a home in Palm Springs, Calif., reportedly began taking prescription painkillers such as ambien, soma, and valium after surgery for fibroid tumor on her uterus. The two are still together, with Melissa telling a friend that she married Jeremy, “for better or worse and this is the ‘worse’ part.”
Though the couple insist that London was in fact kidnapped and forced to "smoke drugs," two of the men who were responsible are still at large, while one has been arrested.

Party of Five alum Jeremy London opened up to People about his addiction to prescription pain pills that compromised his family and career.
Jeremy, along with his identical twin brother Jason, moved to Los Angeles in 1993 in hopes of making it big in Hollywood. He quickly rose to fame as Griffin Holbrook on the hit series Party of Five, then Chandler Hampton on 7th Heaven.
The Hollywood limelight led Jeremy, 37, down a dangerous road of drug abuse.
