The country crooner welcomed the couple's second son on Wednesday (January 11), The Boot reports. Jonah Christopher Deffenbaugh was born at a Nashville hospital at 2:43 PM, weighing 6 lbs., 13 oz.

Jo Dee Messina has some more big news to share with her fans! In addition to expecting baby no. 2 with hubby Chris Deffenbaugh, which she announced at the end of October, the 41-year-old country singer has recently debuted her new parenting blog!
The Fumbling Mom has been described as “A humorous look at a working mom who doesn't have all the answers... just some of them.” So far, Messina - mom to 2-year-old Noah - has shared stories about potty training and sciatica, baking and socks! She’s also been posting snapshots of her family life - pancake breakfasts, trips to visit Santa with her son & candids of her husband.

Congratulations are in order for Jo Dee Messina and hubby Chris Deffenbaugh! The 41-year-old country star shared some very exciting news via Twitter Wednesday afternoon (October 19):
“I suppose I could let you guys in on what's going on,” she tweeted. “Our family is very excited. In a few months, Chris, Noah and I will be welcoming BABY #2 :-) !!!”

She may be a happily married wife and mother now, but not long ago country singer Jo Dee Messina faced heartbreak just like everyone else, with a broken engagement to Don Muzquiz, in 2004. At the time, Messina admits it was "devastating," but she remained hopeful, telling OK Magazine, “When I met my husband, I could hear God snickering up there going ‘see what I had planned for you?’ [laughs] But at the time, yeah. That was nine years of my life. That’s a big chunk of somebody’s lifetime that I was with that person, and you kind of have to relive again. That’s why I say ‘just keep breathing,’ because everything’s going to be new. Figure your way through it.”

Country singer Jo Dee Messina and husband, Chris Deffenbaugh, welcomed their first child today reports PEOPLE. Noah Roger Deffenbaugh was born at a Nashville-area hospital at 1:01 p.m., weighing in at 6 lbs., 15 oz.
Jo Dee shared back in October that she was expecting a son. Waiting at home for the new baby is a handmade crib and changing table built by his woodworker dad, who owns Deffenblaster Enterprises, which builds custom road cases.
