Vanessa Paradis Blasts "False" Rumors Of Split With Johnny Depp

Tabloid headlines have all but confirmed that longtime lovebirds Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis are the latest celebrity couple to call it quits, but the mom-of-two insists that there is no truth to the latest round of rumors.
"Yes it's false - of course it's false!" the Cafe de Flore star tells French TV show Grand Journal. "People say we are buying houses in the middle of nowhere, or that we have fifty two houses in France. All [of those rumors are] not too serious, but this latest one is a rumor which could cause a lot of harm to my family and my children."

In a rare sighting, Johnny Depp was pictured on New Year's Eve with his family in Los Angeles, Calif. The Pirates of the Caribbean star and his longtime partner, Vanessa Paradis, were seen with their two children - daughter Lily-Rose, 12, and son Jack, 9 - and a woman believed to be Johnny's mother Betty Sue.
"It was having children that woke me up," Johnny recently said of being transformed by fatherhood. "To fall in love, to that degree... to fall in love with... these little angels. Who didn't ask to arrive, but who arrived anyway. That was just huge for me."

Who could ever get tired of Johnny Depp? The actors kids, Lily-Rose, 12, and Jack, 9, are still fascinated with their dad but are apparently growing weary of the eccentric character he plays in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.
"Captain Jack doesn't do it for them anymore," Johnny says. "They're so used to him now. I have to make them laugh with new characters."

Johnny Depp has been talking about his family while promoting his new film The Rum Diary. He recently told Entertainment Tonight that he can't be without them too long. When he had to film in Puerto Rico, he had Vanessa Paradis and their two children, Lily-Rose, 12, and Jack, 9, stay with him.
He said, "I had the family down there for a couple of months. As you well know, it's almost impossible to be away from them for too long a period. You start to go a little sideways."

He’s already got two kids of his own, but actor Johnny Depp admits that he was left feeling “broody” after seeing his Pirates of the Caribbean co-star Penelope Cruz and her husband Javier Bardem with their new baby boy.
"It's great to watch the three of them in action," the handsome star tells The Mirror. "It's just adorable and it makes you incredibly broody and clucky. They came to the house and I'd go to their place - to see new parents with their little angel definitely brings back memories. You start thinking, 'Oh wow, I'd like to have another one of those'. But I don't know...two's pretty good."

When Spanish actress Penélope Cruz came to Los Angeles in 1994, she knew only two sentences in English - "How are you?" and, "I want to work with Johnny Depp." Seventeen years later, Cruz just received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and Depp (whom she's worked with in two movies) had nothing but wonderful things to say about his dear friend and their "long road of giggles" together.

“The birth of my daughter, my first kid, was the lifting of a veil," he says, referring to Lily-Rose, now 11. "It was like having this fog removed from your eyes… And suddenly you could see things clearly in great focus."
