Josh Holloway Talks Life After Lost

Almost a year after the gang at Lost called it quits, actor Josh Holloway tells Parade that life is great. After six years in Hawaii, Josh, his wife Yessica and their 2-year-old daughter Java relocated to Los Angeles, where he's keeping busy with work and Wonder Pets marathons. The handsome star has also teamed with Nature Valley and the National Parks Conservation Association to help with national parks preservation projects.

On being a "nature child:" "My father's a fanatic for national parks, and every childhood trip was pretty much to national parks. When this opportunity came down the line, I was thrilled. I connect with the message of preserving the parks and ensuring our future generations will be able to enjoy them. I have a two-year-old daughter, so all those things are really coming to fruition for me now."

Josh Holloway: "It's Been A Phenomenal Journey"

Josh Holloway has survived for six years as the quintessential sexy bad boy, James 'Sawyer' Ford on TV's popular Lost. But now Josh is facing the end as the series begins its sixth and final season tonight on ABC. The 40-year-old father-of-one provided a few clues to Parade as to what viewers can expect from his beloved character.

On his personal journey while filming Lost: "What can I say? My God, I've had so many life-changing experiences since the show has begun. I've gotten married. I've got my first home. We have a beautiful baby daughter. I finally feel validated as an actor. It's just been quite a phenomenal journey."

On if the 'old Sawyer' is back this season: "He's definitely got his faults again. He's completely emotionally destroyed and does not care about life so much anymore. However, the lessons he's learned on the island and the humanity that he's been forced to acknowledge and grow with has come into play too. That's probably the only thing that will keep him from offing himself or something."

Josh Holloway’s Baby Burping Blunder

New dad Josh Holloway, whose baby girl Java is now 9-months-old, recently admitted to Ellen DeGeneres that though he’s trying his best to help out his wife, Yessica Kumala, there are a few parenting tricks that he hasn’t quite mastered.

“I got up and I am sitting there burping the baby and my wife scolds me,” he explained Wednesday on The Ellen Show. “She’s like ‘What are you doing?’ and I was just in shock! ‘Well what do you mean? I’m burping the baby!’ I had the gall to scold her, I said, ‘You be quiet, I’m burping the baby’ and she said ‘I’m holding the baby.’ I was burping the couch and I had a pillow and I scolded her!”

“That was it,” he laughed. “What do you say to that? There’s a reason why women have babies.”

The 40-year-old actor went on to say that though he’s “not rested” he’s “good at faking it now”. Either way, we think he looks great!

Java is the first child for Josh and Yessica, who wed in 2004.

Lost's Josh Holloway is expecting his first child with wife Yessica!

Holloway, 39, confirmed the news to TV Guide while on location in Hawaii filming the fifth season of Lost. The couple, who married in 2004, originally didn't want children, but said earlier this year, "We have changed our minds ... only recently," Holloway told USA Today in March. "Basically, nature happened. If you're in a loving relationship with someone, [having] children becomes a part of it," he added. "I don't know exactly when or how, but we're very open to either having our own children or adopting."
