Julianna Margulies Adjusts To Being A Working Mom
In the new CBS series The Good Wife, Julianna Margulies plays a politician’s wife who stands by her man – even after he’s publicly implicated in a sex scandal.
Julianna tells USA Today the role has given her a lot to think about.
"My reaction would have been to get the hell out of there. Until I put myself in her shoes — since I've been playing her — everything has changed. And since I've had my own child. It's not just about your feelings. The thing I love about her is that she's always balancing things. It's just survival."
In real life, the former ER star is happily married to Keith Lieberthal, with whom she has 1 1/2-year-old son Kieran. Her return to work after being a stay-at-home-mom has been an adjustment for the entire family.

Anyone in the NYC area knows spring fever was in the air today. Julianna Margulies and a friend took advantage of the gorgeous weather by taking Julianna's 2-month old son Kieran to get some frozen yogurt at Tasti D Lite in the Village.

It's A Boy For Julianna Marguiles!
Julianna Margulies, 41, and husband Keith Lieberthal have welcomed a baby boy - Kieran.
Julianna's father, Paul Margulies, tells Us magazine:
"He's brought a lot of joy to the family. He has some of Keith's features and some of Julianna's features," adds Paul, "and they're changing everyday. We went down to the hospital to visit them, and I brought the nurse over," he recalls. "I said [to the nurse], 'You better explain to her about post-partum blues,' and the nurse said, 'We already talked about this. She's not going to have post-partum blues.' And I don't think she will."
