Kevin James and wife Steffiana de la Cruz are expecting their third child, and the actor has decided to get healthy and shed some weight for the sake of his family.

"Now I'm down to about 260 pounds. I want to be there for [my family]. That's important," said The Dilemma star, who previously weighed in at over 300 pounds.

King Of Queens star Kevin James is a diehard New York Mets fan - and to prove it, he and wife Steffianna de la Cruz even named their daughter after the Mets' homebase, formerly known as Shea Stadium. James did reveal to The Billy Bush Show however, his wife was not aware of the true meaning behind Shea's name, saying,

I grew up with them and I kind of just threw it out to my wife as a name, as a possibility, and not mentioning about the stadium or the franchise behind it. And then I had to confess later and tell her it was after the baseball team, the stadium.”

The funnyman then joked about a legal name change for his daughter, saying, “Now it’s Citi Field, so I have to change her name. So we’re going through the paperwork now.

James and de la Cruz, who married in 2004, are also parents to 4 1/2-year-old daughter, Sienna-Marie.
