Liv Tyler: I've Always Dreamed Of Being A Mother

Actress Liv Tyler is simply stunning on the cover of the March issue of Marie Claire UK. A single mom since her split from her ex-husband Royston Langdon in 2008, Liv and her 7-year-old son Milo have criss-crossed the country, settling in Los Angeles for a while before returning to the East coast. These days, the 34-year-old beauty is just trying to live in the moment: "If I've learned anything about life, it's that you don't know what's going to happen," she explains.
Looking back on her decision to head west for a while, Liv says the move was a "healing one" at a complicated time in her life: "We all moved to LA – obviously, separately – just to get a new perspective. I wanted to see what it was like. It was very healing. I have a lot of really good friends there. Then we came back together. I'm always trying to figure out what's the best for him [Milo] as a person. The kind of person I want him to be. The values I want him to have. Much as I love my friends in LA, I wanted him to have more of an East Coast upbringing. The sense of community. Walking to school four blocks away."

Mom-of-one Liv Tyler was seen walking her 7-year-old son Milo to school in New York City Friday morning (January 6). The Reign Over Me star and her boy were bundled up as they made their way through the west village.
The 34-year-old single mom, who is the new face of Pantene haircare, recently gave some of her best fashion advice. "Don't over-think your look," Liv said. "If you've got a more reserved personality, you could have a theme running through your look, but if your taste is more eclectic, don't be scared about mixing different styles together."

Like a lot of kids, Liv Tyler grew up singing along to Aerosmith songs. But since her dad is lead singer Steven Tyler, she gets to do it in person. The actress says she and her dad may even join forces someday.
"We sing all the time together. We always talk about doing something together," Liv says. "Sometimes when he is in the studio he'll say 'come down and sing backup or sing with me on this song.' But I'm usually somewhere else, and our schedules make it so hard to meet up."
