This week's Hello! magazine features Louise Redknapp and her 5-week-old son Beau Henry! Beau was conceived just a month after Louise and husband Jamie decided to add another baby to their family, which already included 4-year-old Charley. Louise also battled endometriosis, which can cause infertility. (It took 4 years for them to conceive Charley.) "Because it all happened so fast this time round, this past year has just felt like a bit of a whirlwind. Never in a million years did I think that I would be sitting here now, gazing at my five-week-old baby. By this stage, I guess I assumed we would be thinking, 'Right, it’s not happening, so what are we going to do? Are we going to go down the same route we went down before? So, yes, it’s been an amazing year for us." Click below to read the rest!

Louise Redknapp Blogs On Her Pregnancy

Louise Redknapp Blogs On Her Pregnancy

Louise Redknapp is due in two weeks, and she posted directly to the Mirror about how she's feeling right now!
My new baby is due in less than a fortnight and I’m so excited. I know the next few weeks are going to whizz by and I still have so much to sort out but we’ll get there. Having a child the second time around has been a very different experience. Unlike with my son Charley, who’s now four, I’ve worked right up to the final weeks of my pregnancy and I’ve loved every minute of it. I love working and my career is important to me. When I had Charley I just focused on having a baby.
Louise has been spending time in the studio working on her album, but she admits that the term "working mom" bothers her,
I do get frustrated with the term “working mum”. It suggests that if you’re a mum at home it isn’t classed as work. Believe me, I have friends who’ve taken time out from their careers and become full-time mums. They’re always on the go! After Charley was born, I knew I wanted to continue working and had to learn how to juggle being a mother and a wife with my career. The most challenging thing has been maintaining that balance between work and family life.

Louise Redknapp: "Charley Can't Wait To Meet His Baby Brother"

Louise Redknapp: "Charley Can't Wait To Meet His Baby Brother"

pride_093008_007.jpg

Singer-turned-TV presenter Louise Redknapp spoke to Hello! about her imminent arrival, due in three weeks, and how her four-year-old son Charley is desperate to meet his baby brother. Dad is Louise's husband Jamie Redknapp. She said,
“I keep saying to him, ‘Only a few more weeks,’ but a week seems like ages when you’re four.”
Keeping him involved,
“Earlier this month, Jamie was playing golf in Scotland and I went up to watch. I spoke to Charley by phone and the first thing he asked was, ‘You’re not having the baby, are you?’ If I'm not there, he thinks I'm off giving birth, even though we’ve promised him that we will all go to the hospital together and that he will be the first person besides me and Jamie to see his new brother. “He’s bursting with excitement, which is lovely,” Louise says. “The birth means a lot to Charley, which is why we’re involving him as much as possible. On the day, my mum will come with us to the hospital and sit with Charley. That way, as soon as I come out of theatre he’ll be there. I don’t want him to think he’s missed anything – we’d never hear the end of it . . .”
