Marcia Cross On Being The "Poster Girl" For Older Moms

In a few weeks Marcia Cross' adorable daughters Eden and Savannah will be celebrating their 5th birthdays - just a month before the Desperate Housewives star turns 50. So how does Marcia feel about being an older mom? She opens up about it in a new interview with UK magazine Easy Living.
When the interviewer suggests she's the "poster girl" for older moms, Marcia is quick to object: "Are you kidding? It's a miracle I have these two daughters," she says. "Your forties is not the time to be thinking about getting pregnant."

Marcia Cross enjoyed some family time over the weekend, heading out with her husband Tom Mahoney and their always adorable daughters Eden and Savannah in Brentwood, California yesterday (January 29). Both girls decked out in red-and-white stripes, Eden held tight to mom's hand while Savannah got a lift from her doting dad.
The happy family-of-four have a lot to celebrate in the coming months: Sisters Eden and Savannah be turning 5 years old in just a few weeks. Not only that, but their mom Marcia also has a milestone birthday coming up in March: Her 50th! Doesn't she look amazing?

Marcia Cross hit the ice in Santa Monica, California yesterday with her 4-year-old twins Eden (pink hat) and Savannah (January 13). The girls, still a bit wobbly on their skates, held on tight to mom as they made their way around the rink.
This is the second time this winter we've spotted the 49-year-old actress and her daughters practicing their skating skills - the sweet trio were joined by dad Tom Mahoney on their last outing.

The family picnicked in a Santa Monica, Calif. park and then rode bicycles – at one point Marcia took a spin on one of the girls' bikes. I tried that once, but I ended up turning my daughter's little Schwinn into a unicycle.

The actress' time on Wisteria Lane is ending since Desperate Housewives is on its last season. Cross was on Good Morning America the other day when she revealed that before she landed her role in the show, she was considering giving up acting to become a therapist.
