It seems like it would be pretty cool to have a mega movie star for a dad, but actor Mark Wahlberg says his kids wish he had a different day job.
"My kids would rather I be a construction worker," says the dad-of-four. "They haven't really seen my movies yet, but they know Daddy has to leave and go away and they don't like it."

It was a boys' day out for the trio. Mama Rhea Durham and sisters Ella, 8, and Grace, 2, were not spotted with the handsome group.
6 Celebrity Parents On Smoking Pot

Celebrity dad Robin Thicke - who is also the son of actor Alan Thicke - got into hot water last week in New York City for allegedly smoking pot.
But the Lost Without U singer certainly isn't the first celebrity to be caught with, or admit to, smoking marijuana. Let's take a look through a list of celebrity parents who have talked about smoking "dope" and their greatest motivations to give up their "wacky baccy" habit.
Mark Wahlberg: “I Don’t Want My Kids Getting Tattoos"
| Feb 20, 2012 by KIRSTIN MIRTICH |

While many of us may enjoy looking at Mark Wahlberg's muscular, tattooed body, it seems the 40-year-old Contraband actor doesn't share the same sentiment - at least regarding the tattoos.
Mark is in the process of getting the "six or seven" tattoos he's acquired over the years removed. However, the hunky actor is taking things a step further - he's including his two eldest children Ella Rae, 8, and Michael, 5½, in the process.
Mark Wahlberg's Focus Is On "My Family, My Faith & My Work"
| Jan 18, 2012 by CAROLYN ROBERTSON |

He plays it tough on the big screen, but actor Mark Wahlberg saves his softer side for his wife Rhea Durham and their kids Ella, 8, Michael, 5, Brendan, 3, and Grace, 2. In a new interview with Men's Journal magazine, the Contraband star opens up about about choosing Easter egg hunts over late nights out with the boys. (But a word of warning to Ella and Grace's future suitors: Mark can still be a very protective papa when he needs to be!)
On settling down: “Yeah, a lot of people I thought were my friends were disappointed that I decided to settle down and don’t take them on whirlwind tours of craziness anymore. When I was the life of the party, I definitely wanted to bring as many people along for the ride as possible. But sooner or later, you find out who your friends are. If they were my friends, they would have been happy for me changing my life and growing up. I mean, because of Entourage, people think that my life is just a big, wild party. And it is. But these days it’s a big, wild Halloween party or Easter egg party. I don’t go out at night anymore. I don’t hang around with the guys. I don’t really play golf. I stopped smoking cigarettes. I stopped smoking pot a lot of years ago, too. I’m focused on my family, my faith, and my work.”
