Kelly Rutherford & Matthew Settle's Lil' Pumpkins
Kelly Rutherford and Matthew Settle posed with their own little Gossip Girls - daughters Helena Grace, 4 months, and Aven Angelica, 8 months - at Old Navy’s Urban Pumpkin Patch in New York City’s Meatpacking District on Friday (October 23). Rutherford and Settle are costars on the popular TV show Gossip Girl.
Aven is Matthew’s daughter with wife Naama Nativ, while Helena is Kelly’s daughter with estranged husband Daniel Giersch. Kelly and Daniel are also parents to 3-year-old son Hermés Gustaf Daniel.
Gossip Girl Goes On Diaper Duty
The young cast of Gossip Girl will soon be on diaper duty if co-star Matthew Settle has his way.
The 40-year-old actor, whose daughter Aven is 6 months old, tells OK!, I’m going to make all the kids change her diaper just so they can get experience.”
If they need any help, Matthew is willing to share his expertise: “I’m really good. I’m an expert. We have a song. [sings] ‘Diaper girl, diaper girl, diaper girl in a diaper world. [ends singing/commercial voice] Diaper girl! Diapers not included.’ It makes her laugh every time.”
Matthew Settle & His Gossip Girl
Matthew Settle was spotted with his wife, actress/model Naama Nativ, and their 6-month-old daughter Aven Angelica Settle in Manhattan on Monday (September 14).
Prior to the arrival of their first child, Matthew commented on how impending fatherhood made him want to strive to be better:
Before you have a child, everything is about you. But my wife, and us having a child, makes me want to be a better man."
Settle is best known for playing Rufus Humphrey on the popular TV show Gossip Girl.
Gossip Girl's Matthew Settle & Wife Expecting
Matthew Settle, the father of Penn Badley and Taylor Momson's Gossip Girl characters, is "thrilled" to be an expectant father in real life,
"I'm not ready. I don't think I'll ever be ready," he told PEOPLE on Tuesday night. "But I'm thrilled."
Matthew and his wife, actress Naama Nativ, are expecting a girl,
"We're having a girl. It's going amazingly. I love it. He's very happy, very excited."
Matthew goes on to describe his feelings about expecting his first child,
"Before you have a child, everything is about you. But my wife, and us having a child, makes me want to be a better man."
Matthew and Naama are still undecided on a name for their daughter,
"We're not sure yet ... we'll see," said Naama. "I want Angelica."
