She already has two young sons - Mason is 5 and Brady is 3 - and a career keeping her busy, but actress Melissa Joan Hart reveals that she and her husband Mark Wilkerson are seriously considering adoption.
“My husband and I discussed it, and we’re considering when would be a good time for us," Melissa tells In Touch, adding that it would be a dream come true if it happens. “I’ve thought about adoption since I was a little girl. My Barbies would adopt Strawberry Shortcakes!”

Melissa Joan Hart has to spend a lot of time away from her children when she's filming her show, Melissa & Joey, on the West coast.
She said, “It’s kind of stressful. I just had the last six weeks off and I got to be home [in Connecticut]. Now I’m going to go back to the West coast for the next five months [to film Melissa & Joey]. My kids are in school so they have to be here — it is really hard.”

Melissa Joan Hart, of Sabrina the Teenage Witch fame, sat down with Babble and shared her thoughts on the differences and similarities between acting and parenting. The mom-of-two talked about her own experiences bringing up boys - Mason, 4, and Brady, 2 - with her husband, Mark Wilkerson, and how they have affected her new role on Melissa & Joey.
On how her family influences her acting on new show: "It's a completely different set of parenting problems. In real life, my kids are four and two years old, but in the show, my “kids” are teens. [But] my family has taught me a lot: that family comes first and you have to have your priorities straight. I’m close with my mom and I had many, many siblings. Also, I’m now closer with my father — we used to be more distant — and I have a husband who taught me not to be concerned about making everybody happy. Family has determined everything for me.
