Melissa Joan Hart: "Being A Mom Is The Hardest Job There Is”

Sabrina, The Teenage Witch star Melissa Joan Hart is back on the small screen this week in ABC Family’s My Fake Fiance. Melissa, 33, who has kids Mason, 3, and Braydon, 13 months, with husband Mark Wilkerson, recently shared some advice for moms-to-be with OK! magazine, and revealed that she’s already thinking about baby #3.
On fitting in date nights with her husband: “Mainly our date nights are 8 p.m., when the kids are in bed, then we sort of cuddle up and watch TV. What we’ve been doing lately, a new little trick, we’ve been meeting up at Starbucks. We’ll text each other real quick — ‘want to meet at Starbucks?’ We have a little afternoon secret meeting at Starbucks that ends up being so much fun.”
On being a mom: “I’ve worked since I was four; I’ve had every kind of job; I’ve worked every kind of hours in different conditions and cities and places and I would say being a mom is the hardest job there is.”
On her advice for moms-to-be: “See movies, read books and sleep, because you’ll never do those things again.”
On trying for baby #3… and #4: “Only because I want to try for a girl and if we don’t have a girl, I’ll try again for a girl but if we do have a girl, I’ll try again for a sister.”

Having a big family has always been very important to me, and I would hate for my kids to not be able to experience that. Mark and I would like to have more eventually.”

Melissa Joan Hart & Brady @ Stuart House Benefit

Melissa Joan Hart and son Braydon 'Brady', who is just days away from his first birthday, attended the John Varvatos 7th Annual Stuart House Benefit at the John Varvatos Boutique in Los Angeles on Sunday.
The 32-year-old actress, singer-songwriter and director recently commented on losing the baby weight after her boys: “I wasn’t in any hurry to lose the pregnancy weight. I did lose it, but only once I put my mind to it. I am lucky to have really good genes; my mom is super-skinny after having all of us. I found that after having Mason, as soon as I stopped breastfeeding it was easier to drop the extra pounds. When you’re trying to feed your kids healthy food, you take better care of yourself. After I had Brady, I began eating healthier right away. I was also chasing around a very active 2-year-old, which meant constant calorie burning.”
