Michael Jackson's Kids To Star In Reality Show

Michael Jackson's Kids To Star In Reality Show

The Jacksons are at odds over including Michael Jackson's three children in an upcoming A&E reality show about the famous family, Us Weekly reports.

The program called The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty tentatively set to air in December includes Michael's kids - Prince, 12, Paris, 11, and Blanket, 7 - though not everyone's happy about it.

Eldest sister Rebbie, 59, who has refused to be in the series, "feels Michael would spin in his grave if he knew his kids would be on this show." While Janet, 43, is reportedly on board, mom Katherine "is just going along with things," the source continues.

One of the creators of the program - which will be either five one-hour episodes or 10 half-hour episodes - says the family shines on the series: "We have 23 cast members with the last name Jackson," executive producer Jodi Gomes says. "They've done a great job opening up about losing a brother."

Paris was photographed in her karate gear and later a cute turquoise outfit, Prince wore a blue cap and carried a MacBook, while Blanket was seen in a black cap and later getting a piggyback ride out of class.

All seems to be going well in Grandma Katherine's house. According to reports, the judge overseeing custody matters for Michael Jackson's three children declared the kids to be "really doing wonderfully with the grandmother as the guardian."

Katherine Jackson Will Raise Michael's Children

Katherine Jackson Will Raise Michael's Children

Katherine Jackson, the 79-year-old mother of Michael Jackson, will receive full custody of the pop singer's three children - Prince, 12, Paris, 11, and Blanket, 7 - her lawyer told The Early Show Thursday morning.

"There is no situation better for these children than for them to be raised and reared in the loving care of Mrs. Katherine Jackson," L. Londell McMillan said.

He added that the issue of Debbie Rowe, who is the mother of Prince and Paris, will have visitation rights, but will not receive any money under terms of the pact.

McMillan addressed concerns that Michael's father, Joe Jackson, would be involved with raising the kids, saying, "I don't think it's valid at all. I think Joe Jackson is the husband of Mrs. Jackson, but he's not living in Los Angeles."

And what about speculation that the King of Pop left his family with more debt than money? McMillan said there's no reality to these rumors.

"That estate is worth, in my estimation, a couple of billion dollars. You hear $500 million. Don't buy it." He added, "I don't know where the broke issue comes -- came from. Mr. Jackson was very generous and provided for resources for his mother and his family and certainly his children."

Paris Jackson: I Love You Daddy

Paris Jackson: I Love You Daddy

An unveiled and grief-stricken 11-year-old Paris Katherine Jackson, Michael Jackson's daughter, addressed mourners at the Staples Center on Tuesday (July 7), telling them her daddy was "the best father you could ever imagine." The only daughter of the late Jackson tearfully stated,

Ever since I was born, daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine. And I just wanted to say I love him so much."

Her aunt, pop star Janet Jackson, protectively took her into her arms before the entire Jackson family left the stage. All eyes were on the young girl as it marked one of the first times Jackson’s daughter has ever been heard publicly.

All three of Jackson's children, Prince, 12, Paris and Blanket, 7, who were often hidden by veils or blankets when seen with their father, were sitting in the front row at the Staples Center for the 2-hour tribute as their father's life and music were remembered.

Stars such as Mariah Carey, Lionel Richie, Stevie Wonder, Usher and an expectant Jennifer Hudson sang special tributes to the late singer the world came to know as the King of Pop.

The Rev. Al Sharpton spoke of Jackson's contributions to the world of music. He then addressed Michael's children: "There wasn't nothing strange about your daddy," he said. "It was strange what your daddy had to deal with, but he dealt with it."

Fellow celebrity parent and good friend, Brooke Shields, who was 13 when she became close friends with Jackson, said they bonded "because we both understood what it was like to be in the spotlight from a very, very young age." Rowan and Grier's mom went on to say, "What we did do was laugh. It was always a competition to see who could make the other one laugh more or be sillier."

The custody of Jackson's three children remains unknown at this time.

The Biological Parents Of Michael Jackson's Children Questioned

The Biological Parents Of Michael Jackson's Children Questioned

Multiple sources report to US magazine that although Michael Jackson and Debbie Rowe were married, the biological father of their children, Prince, 12, and Paris, 11, is Arnold Klein, Michael’s dermatologist and Debbie’s former employer. “He [Klein] is the dad,” a source tells Us. “He and Debbie signed an agreement saying they would never reveal the truth.”

Meanwhile, TMZ reports that neither Michael or Debbie are the biological parents! Reportedly, all three children were conceived in vitro, and are not biologically linked to either Rowe or Jackson.

Numerous sources deeply connected to the births tell TMZ that Michael was not the sperm donor for any of the Jackson children. Debbie's eggs were not used. She was merely the surrogate, and was paid well for her services in the births of Prince and Paris.

Regarding the youngest Jackson child, 7-year-old Prince Michael II (a.k.a. Blanket), TMZ reports that the surrogate was not told of the identity of the "receiving parent" - Michael Jackson. Three days after Prince was born at Grossmont Hospital in San Diego County, Jackson's lawyer picked up the baby and delivered him to Michael.

The custody of the Jackson three remains unknown at this time.
