Ricky Martin and son Matteo, 3 – who is the spitting image of his dad – were spotted as they finished up a lunch date in New York City on Friday (January 20).
The father-son duo exited Nello restaurant and hopped into a waiting SUV. Matteo's twin brother Valentino wasn't with them on this outing - hope they brought him some leftovers!

Already dad to 3-year-old twins Matteo and Valentino, Ricky Martin has his heart set on adding a baby girl to the family - and soon! The 'Livin' La Vida Loca' singer talks about family and more in the February issue of Latina magazine.
On baby #3: "I think that I'll do it later on this year, so that [the kids] are not too far apart in ages. A little girl! Dios mio, me muero... But we're going to talk about that later on. It would be irresponsible to do it now."

Fatherhood seems to have been a great fit for singer Ricky Martin, who welcomed sons Matteo and Valentino via a surrogate in 2008. Now the 39-year-old says he's looking forward to adding another baby to his brood - a girl this time!
Telling UK newspaper The Guardian that he'd love to have "a daddy's girl," Ricky says he plans to go the surrogacy route again next year. "I'll be steady in New York, and then, after I do the play [he'll be starring in Evita], the baby [will be] born, and I'm going to be able to spend time with her."

Ricky Martin kicks off his 'Musica + Alma + Sexo' world tour on March 25th in Puerto Rico, and he'll be bringing two of his biggest fans with him – twins Matteo and Valentino, 2. "They're ready," he said of his sons. "Grandma is coming with us. It's going to be a very interesting tour."
And it sounds like it won't be long before the boys will be joining dad on stage. "They were dancing since they were born. You know what, it's in the blood," Ricky said. "There's always music in the house so I guess that's part of it."

Fatherhood has changed Ricky Martin's perspective on a lot of things - including romance. The 39-year-old singer tells Attitude magazine that though he feels "very lucky" to be in a relationship, his 2-year-old twins Matteo and Valentino will always be his top priority.
"I used to fall in love quickly. When you are young you are open to taking risks and not afraid of anything," Ricky recalls. "Now my priorities are different. I have children and they are the most important thing in my life. I'm in a relationship and I know how lucky I am."

Pop sensation Ricky Martin, who is the father of two twins, Matteo and Valentino, 2, told Extra he would add on to his family via adoption, calling the process "beautiful."
Ricky started his family with the help of a surrogate, who he's revealed he picked on the basis of "good vibes" from the surrogate's egg donation profile on a website. But, Ricky doesn't think he'll go the surrogacy route again: "Even though I started with surrogacy, adoption is probably my next step." He was inspired by the CBS special he recently starred in, "A Home For The Holidays," which raised awareness of adoption.

Ricky Martin has revealed how he chose the egg donor of his twins, Mateo and Valentino, now two-years-old.
Explaining the process to Access Hollywood he said, "I sat in front of the computer and I started searching. It definitely was a very beautiful journey."
