Sarah Jessica Parker Loves The Smell Of Diapers
Sarah Jessica Parker is crazy about her newborns - so much so that she says she even loves the smell of dirty diapers!
The Sex and the City star graces the cover of the December issue of Elle magazine, where she dishes on double diaper duty, among other things.
“I love the smell of diapers; I even like when they’re wet and you smell them all warm like a baked good,” she says.
Sarah Jessica and her husband Matthew Broderick welcomed their twin daughters Marion Loretta and Tabitha Hodge in June, and the busy mom reveals that big brother James Wilke, 6, lent a hand in picking his new sister's name.
“He told me he really wanted Marion to be in the mix. We thought, ‘Are we crazy? Do we let our son name one of the girls? Is that the right thing to do? Is it important for him?’ And then he goes, and I want it legal," she says.
The ultra-chic SJP owns up to a few new mommy fears where her daughters are concerned, confessing, “First of all, I have a fear that they’re not going to like me."
She jokes that at least the girls will one day be able to raid mom's closet: "The only tragedy would be if their feet are bigger than mine."

Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker and her son James Wilke were spotted on their way to the airport in New York today (October 19). The pair are rumored to be headed to Morocco, where Sarah Jessica will continue working on the next SATC film.
As was reported last week, trial dates have been set for the two Ohio police chiefs accused of breaking into the home of the surrogate mom who carried SJP and Matthew Broderick's twins Tabitha and Marion. Both men have plead not guilty in the case.

USA Today reports that trial dates have been set for the two Ohio police chiefs accused ofbreaking into the home of Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick’s surrogate mother.
Martins Ferry Chief Barry Carptenter and Police Chief Chad Dojack were accused in June of snooping around the woman’s home and listening to phone messages with hopes of selling information to tabloids.
On Friday (Ocotober 16) a trial date for Carpenter was set for November 16 – Dojack’s trial date will be January 12 in Belmont Country Common Pleas Court. Both parties have plead not guilty.
The surrogate gave birth to Sarah and Matthew’s twins, Tabitha and Marion, on June 22 in Ohio.

SJP, who welcomed twins Marion and Tabitha with her husband Matthew Broderick in June – has been back to work these days reprising her role as Carrie Bradshaw in the second Sex and the City film.

People reports that newborn twins Tabitha and Marion left the East Ohio Regional Hospital under police escort yesterday morning.
Busy dad Matthew Broderick is already back to work, having commuted all the way to New York on Tuesday night to perform on Broadway. Leaving the theater at the end of the night, he told reporters, "I'm very happy. I don't know what else to say."
Meanwhile, the town of Martins Ferry, Ohio is abuzz with the exciting news of the babies' births. Local construction workers even offered up their congrats to Sex and the City star SJP with a sign that read: "Nice shoes Carrie, Congratulations!"

Update: Reps for SJP and Matthew have just confirmed their baby news on ABCNews.com: "Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick are delighted to announce the healthy arrival of their two daughters. Marion Loretta Elwell Broderick weighed 5 lbs, 11 oz and Tabitha Hodge Broderick weighed 6 pounds. Both Hodge and Elwell are family names on Parker's side. The babies are doing beautifully and the entire family is over the moon."

Deal Sours For Police Chiefs Involved In Sarah Jessica Parker Break-In
The two Ohio police officers who are under investigation after breaking into the home of Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick's surrogate mother became targets after asking for too much cash for the stolen photographs, TMZ.com reports.
Apparently Martins Ferry Police Chief Barry Carpenter first knocked on the door of the surrogate's home and then proceeded to break in when no one answered. Sources say that after entering, Carpenter proceeded to take fifteen photos of the residence and may have also attempted to retrieve answering machine messages left by Sarah Jessica.
