It was a difficult conversation, one that no parent looks forward to, but Seal and Heidi Klum have broken the news of their separation to their four children - Leni, 7, Henry, 6, Johan, 5, and Lou, 2.
"We talk to them, we try to explain as best we could what is going on," Seal tells Access Hollywood's Billy Bush in a pretaped interview, airing Friday (January 27).

Seal and Heidi Klum may be ending their marriage, but the singer still thinks the world of the model-turned-mogul and mother of his children.
"The thing that I'm most proud about this great woman who I married - and I really do mean that from the bottom of my heart - is that together she has given me four incredible gifts, four beautiful children," Seal told Ellen DeGeneres during an appearance on her talk show.

Heidi Klum and Seal have confirmed they are separating after almost seven years of marriage, PEOPLE reports.
While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate," the couple said in a statement. "We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart. This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition."

Proud parents Heidi Klum and Seal watched on today as their kids Leni, Henry and Johan showed off their skills on the slopes at Buttermilk Mountain in Aspen, Colorado (December 26). The lovebirds snapped a few pics and cheered on the kids as they headed down the run.
Two-year-old Lou Sulola was the only sibling not on skis, but she also enjoyed some winter fun thanks to a sleigh ride with her model mama.

It was a busy day for Heidi Klum and Seal in Brentwood, Calif on Saturday (October 22). The couple took Leni, 7, and Lou, 2, to ballet class and their boys Henry, 6, and Johan, 4 to their karate class. Dancing around must have tired Lou because when they left she was fast asleep!
After the children finished their activities the family had lunch together at Divino restaurant.

Married for six years, Seal and Heidi Klum are more best friends than lovers. The singer - who raises Leni, 7, Henry, 6, Johan, 4, and Lou, 2, with the Project Runway host - says the key to a lasting relationship is respect.
He tells Cosmopolitan magazine, "I look at my wife as my best friend, the mother of our children second and my wife and lover third; because as wonderful as love is, it can get curly pretty quickly. But when you respect your best friend there is a line which you rarely, if ever, cross."

Heidi Klum and Seal took their four adorable kids - Leni, 7, Henry, 6, Johan, 4, and Lou, 2 - to Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch in West Hollywood, Calif. on Saturday (October 15). The family-of-six had a great time picking out pumpkins, taking pictures and going down the fun slide.
