Sheryl Crow: "I Love Every Second Of Motherhood"

Singer Sheryl Crow isn't afraid of the so-called Terrible Twos!
The proud mom, whose son Wyatt turned 2 last April, tells OK!, “I love everything about being a mom. Even the terrible twos, which are terribly fun. It’s great. I love every second of it.”
Having adopted Wyatt as a newborn in 2007, Sheryl passed on a few words of wisdom to new parents Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley, who recently brought home their 10-month-old daughter Naleigh.
“Grab sleep where you can," she advises, adding, "One of the great things that my baby nurse told me was to talk to your baby all the time because it stimulates their brain, and they’re already starting to learn. Even though they’re not talking yet, they’re learning.”
Sheryl, 47, and her adorable son are pictured here in Beverly Hills earlier this summer.
Sheryl Crow’s Son Wyatt Has Heard Enough!

Sheryl Crow's 2-year-old son Wyatt Steven has had enough of her singing: “I want to sing to him, but right now he’s like, ‘Mommy, no! All done! All done!’”
“He’s really into kids’ music,” the 47-year-old singer tells PEOPLE, “And is listening to a lot of Raffi. I think he thinks if I’m singing that I’m going to work.”
Wyatt - who was adopted when he was just 2-weeks-old - and his songstress mama moved from Hollywood to Tennessee last year to seek out a quieter life: “Everything about me has changed,” she says. “My point of reference has changed. [Wyatt] is the first thing I think of in the morning and the last thing I think of at night, and it’s just a lot of joy in my life. I definitely sleep a lot less.”
Sheryl Crow & Her Travelin' Man

Little Wyatt is on the move! The adorable 2-year-old pulled his bag along behind him as he and his mom Sheryl Crow left Beverly Hills eatery The News Room Café yesterday.
Sheryl recently confirmed that she’ll be joining Canadian songstress Sarah McLachlan at a benefit concert in Vancouver, BC on September 12. Proceeds from the day-long event will go to the Sarah McLachlan Foundation, which aims to provide high-quality music programs to kids in under-served communities. Sounds like a great cause!
Moms Step Out For A Good Cause

It was a star-powered night at STK in LA, with Nicole Richie, Demi Moore, Courtney Cox-Arquette, Jennifer Aniston and Sheryl Crow all in attendance at "Stamp Out Violence Against Women and Girls of the Congo."
Mom-to-be Nicole, who showed off her growing baby belly in basic black, explained why she was there to support the cause.
"I'm all about making people aware and showing them what the problem is. It's impossible to turn your back on something like this," she tells People magazine. "It's really hard to complain about anything when you hear the stories of these women and children and their torture."
The event capped off a busy day for Nicole, who wrote on Twitter, "Today I worked, burned my hand, missed a sugar test, wrote a letter to Obama, supported women of the Congo, & met an online porn star...."
Nicole and her boyfriend Joel are expecting baby #2 this summer. Soon-to-be big sister Harlow Winter Kate is 17 months.
Lance Armstrong Says Split With Sheryl Crow Was Over Baby

Lance Armstrong says that his breakup with fiancee Sheryl Crow was over babies: She wanted them, he didn’t.
Lance, 37, and Sheryl, 47, were together for just over two years before parting ways in 2006. Sheryl later called the break-up “devastating,” telling Vanity Fair, “I do think about Lance every day. And I think about his kids every day."
In his new book, Lance writes, "She wanted marriage, she wanted children; and not that I didn't want that, but I didn't want that at that time because I had just gotten out of a marriage, I'd just had kids [Luke, 9, and twins Grace and Bella, 7]. Yet we're up against her biological clock - that pressure is what cracked it."
He reveals that even couples’ counseling couldn’t help them to overcome the problem.
"If somebody wants a child - man, that's the greatest gift you can give to a woman - ... who are you to stand there and say I don't want one? So we were at different points in our lives. We were not compatible on that issue."
Sheryl went on to adopt her son Wyatt the following year. Lance is also to be a dad again – his girlfriend Anna Hansen is expecting a baby next month.
