Uma Thurman and her kids Maya Ray, 12, and Levon Roan, 9, were spotted leaving the Ritz Carlton hotel in Paris along with a friend. Maya and Levon are Uma's children with ex-husband Ethan Hawke.
Looks like some sightseeing was in their future – Uma had her camera at the ready and at one point even turned it around on the paparazzi.

Uma Thurman was spotted at the Apple store in the meatpacking district of New York City on Thursday (September 2).
The Pulp Fiction star was accompanied by her on-again-off-again boyfriend Arpad 'Arki' Busson and her 8-year-old son Levon (green shirt) along with a friend. Uma and her ex-husband Ethan Hawke are also parents to 12-year-old daughter Maya.
Arki and his ex, supermodel Elle Macpherson, are parents to sons Flynn, 12, and Cy, 7.

Pulp Fiction actress Uma Thurman has been very open about her struggle to find a balance between mother and actress. The stunning starlett, who recently split from fiancé, Arpad Busson, sat down with Candid magazine and shared her love for both of her passions, saying,
I love and adore being a mother. It's the greatest gift I've ever been given. Having children flips the game from being about you to about what you can create in a home and what your responsibilities are. I've thought about quitting acting, but I love what I do so much - it's the big conundrum of my life. So I'm fighting to keep my foot in the business, be creative and stimulated, and still take care of my children."
Thurman- 40 today! (April 29)- and ex-husband Ethan Hawke are parents to Maya Ray, 11, and Levon Roan, 8. The Motherhood actress recently said of the very public split, "My marriage to Ethan just fell apart in an unfortunate and public way. I got to the point where I was going, 'If I see one more headline about it, I'm going to gag me with a spoon.' This is now a great time for me."

The statuesque star, who has children Maya, 11, and Levon, 8, with her ex-husband Ethan Hawke, shares her thoughts on movie-making and being a mom in a new interview with The Times Online.
"Becoming a mother definitely took the focus off my work, and I didn’t mind," says Uma, who has starred in box office hits such as Kill Bill and Pulp Fiction. "Then I had a few panics that I couldn’t get a job any more, and then I would get one. I love what I do. For my wellbeing, I need to be reminded that I have other purposes. In the old days, people pined for their husband. In modern life, your work is like your man, your love.”

The ring is back on! After she was caught canoodling with her ex-fiance Arpad "Arki" Busson yesterday, Uma Thurman was spotted picking up her 8-year-old son Levon from school today (January 20) with a sizeable rock on her ring finger. Although the couple just announced their separation, they seem to have reconciled.
Uma and her ex-husband Ethan Hawke are also parents to 11-year-old daughter Maya, while Arki and ex-girlfriend, supermodel Elle Macpherson, are parents to sons Flynn, 11, and Cy, 6.

Now the 39-year-old accomplished actress is taking on a role closer to her own life in the new hit, Motherhood. Uma sat down with Parade and shared her thoughts on being a mom, divorce and how she doesn't want to be a "celebrity whiner."
On how motherhood is the best kept secret: "When I had my first child I thought, 'This is the best-kept secret.' You know how parents rattle on to you about, 'Oh, you won't believe your life will never be the same,' and da, da, da and you think, 'Why can't these people just get over it? All they're doing is yakking on about their kids. It's such a bore.' And then you have kids and you just want to do all the same things."
On juggling her career and family life: "You feel much more conflicted. I think I really struggled with that conflict. Sort of like, 'What's worthy enough to interrupt my kid's life to take them on the road with me while I do a movie?' Now, I just try to balance it. I probably overthink things, but I try to do the right thing. I just do my best. Any working mother will tell you it's the same. I think every working mom is kind of a superhero. I think we all are."

Having done everything from romantic comedies to science fiction flicks, Uma, 39, explains why she agreed to sign on to Motherhood.
"It was the realness that attracted me to the script. It was so anchored in something that I knew. Maybe some of the circumstances were different— nobody would believe that it was as close to me as it was! But I read it and felt like this was like years of my life. There's a loneliness to motherhood and mothering, and the effort of trying to be a fully good mother and at the same time wondering, who are you otherwise?"

Reflecting on her life as a single mom, the 39-year-old Kill Bill star tells the magazine that as her kids Maya, 11, and Levon, 7, get older she finds herself able to reclaim the parts of her life that have had to take a backseat to motherhood.
“'When my son turned seven, I felt myself stand upright and realize that I wasn’t going to be bending over so much,' she says, getting out of her chair and comically throwing her arms to the floor as if tending to a small child. 'I realized I had been kind of in this position for years! It’s nice to think that everybody’s getting more independent and now I can kind of maybe, slightly selfishly, think about work again. You know, I do care about my work, and it is part of me. And I am a mother, but I need to do what I’m good at doing. You really can’t let go of all of yourself…. Even your kids need you to be who you are.'”

Throughout her 20-year career Uma Thurman has played everything from a superhero to an assassin. Next up for the Boston-born beauty? A frazzled mom in her upcoming film, Motherhood.
It’s a role that Uma, who has kids Maya, 11, and Levon, 7, with her ex-husband Ethan Hawke, knows well.
“When my son turned 7, I sort of stood up straight,” she tells The Times. “And I suddenly realised I had been like this [makes expansive gesture of exhaustion], in one way or the other, for the past 10 years.”
Having plenty of firsthand experience with the film’s subject matter, Uma thinks that Motherhood does a good job of capturing the “chaos and confusion” that so many moms face.
“That’s what Motherhood is about. The chaos and the confusion – and also the loss of yourself. Of course there is a good part to losing yourself – any mother that doesn’t give herself up isn’t a good mother, but at the same time you can get to a point where you can’t reach the identity that helped you be stable in the first place – and that is quite a frightening feeling. I must have gone through years of it. Just years of confusion. Guilty when you’re here and guilty when you’re there, of being torn in half.”
Now that her kids are growing up, however, Uma says she is starting to be able to focus on herself again as well. Her goal right now is one that a lot of moms likely share!
