Will Arnett: Fatherhood Is "Awesome, Life-Altering"

Comic couple Will Arnett and Amy Poehler are used to making people laugh, but the new dad tells Parents magazine that his favorite audience is his 8-month-old son Archie.
"We have a lot of good laughs," the former Arrested Development star says of family life. "Being a dad has been an incredible experience so far. And like millions of people already know, it's just an awesome, life-altering event. Kids, no matter what age they are, provide you with so much laughter and joy. When your baby laughs at you, it's the purest, most amazing feeling. It's the best possible laugh you can get."
Next up for Will is the family-friendly Disney flick, G-Force. Having also lent his voice to animated films such as Monsters vs. Aliens and Horton Hears a Who, the busy dad says, "I'm proud of the fact that I can show [Archie] some of my movies before he turns 21."
Happy Father's Day to Will and all the other dads out there!
Will Arnet: 'Archie Is Thinking About Smiling'

When asked the question most parents are asked about their new baby, Will Arnett was happy to answer,
"He's loving being a baby right now," the proud papa told PEOPLE Wednesday night, as the American Museum of Moving Images saluted Ben Stiller. "He's thinking about smiling. He's trying to decide if he's ready or not."
SNL costar Bill Hader says that, since he's "got hilarious parents," it's only a matter of time for 2-week-old Archie. Amy, he adds, is "an amazing mom."
"That kid is going to be the funniest. We're going to have Archie Arnett being saluted here in about 30 years."
Still, one thing that's not all fun and games for Will? Midnight diaper changes, which are "very dramatic," and something he finds "to be a very sad process."
And as for talking - not even close.
"Noises? Not out of the top part," Arnett quipped. "There are a lot of other noises."
