Will Smith & Son Jaden Get Set To Shoot Sci-Fi Flick

The Smith boys are heading back to the big screen together! Oscar-nominated actor Will Smith and his 13-year-old son, Jaden, have been tapped to co-star in M. Night Shyamalan's latest project, the post-apocalyptic sci-fi film, 1000 A.E.
According to a late night tweet from the director himself, the crew is en route to Costa Rica to prep for shooting, which will begin on February 6th with an anticipated release date of June 2013.

While his little sister Willow was busy working the red carpet at this week's Twilight: Breaking Dawn premiere in LA, 13-year-old Jaden Smith was enjoying some guys' time with his dad Will in Miami, Florida (November 15). The father-son pair were spotted posing for pics with fans as they headed out to grab a bite to eat.
The very talented family all have projects on the go at the moment: Willow and Jaden will be teaming up in the comic-inspired Amulet while their movie star dad is scheduled to soon begin shooting his new drama The Last Pharaoh. Mom Jada Pinkett-Smith, meanwhile, will lend her voice to the animated flick Madagascar 3.

Birthday boy Will Smith and his 10-year-old daughter Willow celebrated his 43rd birthday together on Sunday (September 25) in Los Angeles. The father-daughter duo were all smiles as they left Barnes & Noble hand in hand.
The Academy Award-nominated actor dressed casually in a white T-shirt and red shorts. Meanwhile the Whip My Hair singer/mini-fashionista wore an over-sized gray coat with a denim jacket underneath, over a white T-shirt, a pair of bleached and slashed jeans, and a pair of yellow trainers.

Is another one of Hollywood's hottest power couples headed for Splitsville? Not according to Will Smith's 18-year-old son, Trey, who took to Twitter to dispel the rumors that his father and stepmother, Jada Pinkett-Smith, were calling it quits after 13 years of marriage.
"Did #WillandJada split? No they did NOT split! False information...its not true RETWEET!!!" Trey posted today (August 23), adding, "Everyone can think what they want ... even if its not true."

We all know that 10-year-old singer Willow Smith has inherited some mad skills from dad Will Smith. And now it appears that the Whip My Hair singer will be following even closer in her dad's footsteps when crafting her debut album - she's working with Will's former hip-hop partner DJ Jazzy Jeff, 25 years after he launched DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince with Will.
It all makes sense, since Willow recently admitted she'd love to record a new version of the successful hip hop duo's 1988 hit single Parents Just Don't Understand.
