Actress Angelina Jolie adopted a six-month-old girl from Ethiopia, Zahara Marley, on July 6, 2005. Zahara was born on January 8, 2005. She was originally named Yemsrach by her mother, and was later given the legal name Tena Adam at an orphanage. Jolie adopted her from Wide Horizons For Children orphanage in Addis Ababa. Shortly after they returned to the United States, Zahara was hospitalized for dehydration and malnutrition. In 2007, media outlets reported Zahara's biological mother, Mentewabe Dawit, was still alive and wanted her daughter back, but she later denied these reports, saying she thought Zahara was "very fortunate" to be adopted by Jolie.Partner, Brad Pitt was reportedly present when Jolie signed the adoption papers and collected her daughter; later Jolie indicated that she and Pitt made the decision to adopt Zahara together. On January 19, 2006, a judge in California approved Pitt's request to legally adopt Jolie's two children. Their surnames were formally changed to "Jolie-Pitt".

Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie: Yo Halloween!
Yo Gabba Gabba! RadarOnline caught Brangelina and their brood trick-or-treating in the Los Angeles area on Halloween night (October 31).
Brad looked hilarious dressed up as DJ Lance Rock from the kids TV show Yo Gabba Gabba! Angie went as the walking dead, while 8-year-old Maddox was a dead army soldier, 4 ½-year-old Zahara was Batgirl and Shiloh, 3, was a jet fighter.

Angelina Jolie & Her Giggly Girls
We can't get enough of the Jolie-Pitts! Angelina Jolie was spotted outside a supermarket with two of her six children - daughters Zahara Marley, 4 ½ and Shiloh Nouvel, 3 - in Brignoles, France on Monday (October 5). Shiloh gave us a toothless smile, while Zaraha giggled and skipped alongside her mom and little sis.
Brangelina has just returned from the Middle East where they helped raise awareness for the hundreds of thousands of Iraqi refugees who remain in exile. While in Jordan, the A-listers were spotted with their 1-year-old adorable twins: son Knox and daughter Vivienne.
The couple are also parents to Maddox Chivan, 8 and 5 ½-year-old Pax Thien.
The Jolie-Pitt Sword Sisters
Adorable! Angelina Jolie was spotted out with three of her six children - Shiloh Nouvel, 3, Zahara Marley, 4 ½, and Pax Thien, 5 ½ - on Wednesday (Sept. 23) in Toulon, France. Zahara was caught sticking out her tongue and Shiloh brought along her sword for the family outing to Toys ‘R Us.
The 34-year-old Goodwill Ambassador and her partner Brad Pitt, 45, are also parents to Maddox Chivan, 8, and 14-month-old twins Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline.
The Jolie-Pitts have been seen out and about in France over the past few weeks picking out gerbils and getting groceries.

Angelina Jolie was seen taking her daughters, Zahara, 4, and Shiloh, 3, to a dance class called "The Princess Series" in Studio City, CA on Monday (July 6). Holding the hand of each little princess, Angelina walked back to her car in a parking garage below the dance studio. Not spotted with the trio was big brother Maddox, who turns 8 in August, brother Pax, 5 1/2, and twins Knox and Vivienne, who turn 1 on Sunday (July 12).
The 34-year-old actress, Goodwill Ambassador and mother of six looks fabulous. Angie said that partner Brad Pitt finds her sexier than ever now that she's a mom:
I’m with a man who’s evolved enough to look at my body and see it as more beautiful, because of the journey it has taken and what it has created. He genuinely sees it that way. So I genuinely feel even sexier.”
Brangelina & Their Grocery Girls
Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and two of their three daughters, Zahara, 4, and Shiloh, who turns 3 next month, were seen doing some grocery shopping in New York City.
The 33-year-old mother of six, recently admitted to being exhausted: “The biggest problem is just lack of sleep. But all parents face that - you're just grateful when the kids fall asleep and you can collapse on the couch together."

Brangelina's Broadway Babes
The recently Oscar-nominated power-couple, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, were spotted with four of their six children at The Little Mermaid on Broadway in New York City. Brad was seen exiting the theatre with Pax, 5, and Shiloh, 2 1/2. Angelina made a quick escape behind them with 7-year-old Maddox and 4-year-old Zahara. Seven month-old twins Knox & Vivienne were not with the family.
We recently saw some great pictures of Angelina with Shiloh and Zahara shopping for NYC apartments in Manhattan’s Washington Heights.

Angelina Jolie Steps Out With Zahara & Shiloh
Angelina Jolie was spotted Wednesday morning in NYC with two of her six children - Shiloh, 2 1/2 and Zahara, 4.
The 33-year-old actress was seen looking at apartments in Manhattan's Washington Heights on Tuesday. The couple also recently signed a lease on a $60-million estate in Long Island, where the family will stay while she shoots her newest film Salt.
With nominations for both Angie and Brad, the family of eight will be heading West for the Academy Awards, which airs Sunday at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
