Quaid Family Settles With Cedars Sinai Over Twins' Accidental Overdose

ETOnline.com reports that Dennis Quaid and wife Kimberly have finally reached a settlement with Cedars Sinai Medial Center, the hospital where, in 2007, their twins were given an accidental overdose of heparin, a blood thinning drug.
The Quaids will receive $500,000 in their settlement with the hospital, which is to be split equally between twins Zoe Grace and Thomas Boone.
Cedars Sinai is also offering free medical care to Zoe and Thomas for any related health problems that may arise due to the heparin overdose.
The twins, who were carried by a surrogate mother, were born November 18, 2007.

The Quaids Touch Down In LA

Dennis Quaid, his wife Kimberly Buffington and their 1-year-old twins, Thomas Boone and Zoe Grace, along with 16-year-old Jack Henry were spotted at Los Angeles International Airport on Sunday. Dennis, Kimberly and the twins were seen at LAX just before Christmas perhaps heading to Texas to celebrate the holidays.
Jack is Quaid's first son with ex-wife Meg Ryan.

Dennis Quaid and Kimberly Quaid welcomed twins Thomas Boone Quaid and Zoe Grace Quaid, on Thursday in Santa Monica, CA.
The twins were born via a gestational carrier, which is when a woman carries another couple's baby conceived by the parents' egg and sperm. Thomas Boone was born at 8:26 a.m. and weighed 6 lb. 12 oz., and Zoe Grace was born at 8:28 a.m. and weighed 5 lb. 9 oz.
The twins are the first children for the couple. Quaid also has a 17-year-old son, Jack Henry, with ex-wife Meg Ryan.
