A year later, Brad shared a very similar story about his daughter,

“Yesterday, Z.Z. goes, ‘Daddy, smell’ I go, ‘What, honey?’ and she goes ‘Smell’ [Brad makes a disgusted face] ‘What is that?’ And she goes, ‘Dog poop.’”

Lisa Bonet and Jason Momoa welcomed their second child together, son Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha Momoa, sometime in early December. He was born on the “stormiest, rainiest night,” Jason’s official forum says.

Nakoa means “warrior”; Mana means “strength” or “spirit”; kaua means “rain” and “po” means dark, referring to his time of birth. Namakaeha is also Jason’s middle name.

Nakoa-Wolf joins big sisters Lola, 17 months, and Zoë, 20, Lisa’s daughter with Lenny Kravitz.

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, who gave birth to son Bronx one month ago, has turned to her pal Nicole Richie for parenting tips. Nicole, whose daughter Harlow celebrates her first birthday on January 11, gives the new mom a unique perspective.

“They are both party girls turned moms,” an insider tells In Touch Weekly. “Ashlee has an amazing connection with Nicole, and that’s why she’s relying on her.” The insider adds that Ashlee even phoned Nicole early one morning when she couldn’t get Bronx to fall asleep. “She has been there for Ashlee since day one,” a pal says. “Nicole basically told her to call any time, day or night, if she needs some moral support or help.”

Ashlee isn’t the only Hollywood mom going to Nicole for help. Christina Aguilera, mom to Max who turns one the day after Harlow, has also gone to Nicole for tips and advice.

Not only does the dapper Academy Award-nominated actor give Ruby Maguire a lift now and again, Leonardo DiCaprio also babysits the adorable 2-year-old.

On December 21 Leonardo entertained his best friend’s daughter while Tobey and his wife, Jennifer Meyer, did some holiday shopping. “Ruby loves her Uncle Leo, and the feeling is mutual,” an insider tells In Touch Weekly, who notes that even though Tobey and Jen have a nanny, they love having Leo spend time with their daughter when he can. “He reads her books, they play games and he makes her carrot snacks.”

Leo, despite his playboy reputation, has stated he wants kids one day,

“Every friend of mine who has children says the same thing — it’s the greatest thing in the world,” Leo, 34, says. “So it’s something I’m looking forward to.”

Tobey and Jen are expecting their second child this summer.

Cate Blanchett’s latest film role as Brad Pitt’s soulmate in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, has the 39-year-old Academy Award winner focused on aging and death which she thinks is a “great” change: “We’ve enshrined the purity, sanctity, value, and importance of bringing children into the world, yet we don’t discuss death.” Cate discusses death, motherhood to her 3 boys (Dashiell, 7, Roman, 4, and Ignatius, 8 months), marriage and more in the latest edition of Vanity Fair.

On having more babies: “Who knows? Don’t close those doors. The world is very overpopulated, but we do make nice ones. They all look like Andrew. To say he has dominant genes would be an understatement.”

On her husband, Andrew Upton: “[Andrew is] the strongest man I know. He’s got a very strong sense of self. He’s married to a woman who, at the moment, is in a noisy phase in her career. But he’s also been with me when it’s not that noisy, and he knows there’s not a lot of difference in me, or in us. I’m incredibly lucky to be with someone like that. Because my face is more recognized than his, there’s a reverse sexism; somehow his career path is seen as more dispensable, less important. That’s just garbage. I have deep respect for what he does, and likewise. If I was a theater actor, it wouldn’t be an issue.”

On accepting Andrew’s marriage proposal just weeks after they met: “We were in exactly the same place at exactly the same time. He turned to me after a few days and said, ‘Cate … ,’ and I thought, Oh, god, he’s going to ask me to marry him—and I’m going to have to say yes! He didn’t, in fact; he asked me what I wanted for dinner or something like that. But I’d never had that thought before. I thought, This is extraordinary! I’ve never felt this before. What an adventure! It was a leap, but I wasn’t leaping by myself. It was a leap into the future.”

On how she and Andrew juggle life with 3 young sons: “We don’t mind a bit of chaos. As your life becomes more populated with little people, you have to adapt, but I’ve never been frightened of change.”

Jennifer Garner’s former Alias co-star, Victor Garber, says that the birth of Jen and Ben’s second daughter went quite smoothly yesterday.

“I talked to her and she’s doing great,” Victor Garber exclusively told PopWrap. “It was a much easier birth, which I guess is true of most second births - they’re easier. She sounded fantastic. I’m very excited.”

No word yet on the new baby’s name, but Victor says if she’s anything like big sister Violet, 3, she’ll be absolutely adorable.

“I think that the chances it’ll be an attractive child are very good,” Victor laughed. “I just marvel at how they’re being brought up. What a wonderful mother Jennifer is, and what a joy it is to be around that family. I’ll be back in Los Angeles next week, so I’ll see her very soon. I’m very excited to see that baby.”

Jodie Sweetin’s attorney Wilma Presley says that Jodie and her estranged husband Cody Herpin “are working hard to avoid a protracted custody battle” for their 9-month-old daughter Zoie. The couple attended their first joint mediation session this week at an Orange County, Calif., court.

“They’re trying to work things out regarding the sharing of their child,” attorney Wilma Presley says. “As far as reconciliation as a couple goes, in family law, you just never know.”

Despite recent court drama, “Jodie is doing very well,” Presley adds. “She had a very nice Christmas. She had her daughter on Christmas Eve and morning, and so far, the sharing has been smooth. There haven’t been complaints from either side.”

Jodie is also “working hard on sobriety attending a 12-step program,” as well as dedicating time to her book, an autobiography about her childhood stardom and personal struggles.

A judge ruled at a Dec. 17 hearing that custody of Zoie was to be shared 50-50, and that custodial time would take place at her parents’ home where she currently lives, or if not at home, in the presence of one of her parents. Presley stressed this was not monitored custody, because Sweetin can drive their daughter alone to and from Herpin’s residence.
