Actor Matt Damon and wife Luciana, have welcomed another baby girl to the Damon family. Gia Zavala was born today, Wednesday, August 20, 2008. Gia joins Isabella, 2 and Alexia, 9, Luciana's daughter from a previous relationship.
Matt commented on how he's outnumbered with all the females in the house now! Friend and fellow Ocean's 11-13 costar, George Clooney spoke to People in 2007 about Damon,
"Damon is a "phenomenal" father, he absolutely adores those kids. He's doing it really well."
After filming re-shoots of his current movie thriller, Green Zone, Damon told USA today he will have some down time and will be taking the rest of the year off to be with his family.
Congrats to the Damon family!

My 2.5 year old daughter's name is Gia. She was named after my hubby's mom...my hubby is from Italy. I loved the name because it was unique...maybe not for long, though.
I can't wait to see what she looks like.

Not only did they give their baby a real name...but they didn't introduce her to the public via some cheesey "day after delivery" photo shoot. Parents like Larry Birkhead and Matthew McConaughey and their shameless display of their children for the public is despicable. They should learn from Matt and his wife about how classy and responsible parents bring a child into the world and raise her in a healthy environment.
