It’s delivery day for Gwen Stefani! The singer reportedly checked into Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and is scheduled to give birth via C-section at 10 A.M. PT. This will be the second child for Gwen and her husband Gavin Rossdale, and it’s in the same hospital where she gave birth to son, super-cute Kingston, 2.

This could be why x17online.com is reporting that Kingston is hanging out with Britney spears today :)

GWENS BABY IS CALLED ZUMA!! according to E!

Zuma? Why can't celebrities give their kids nice normal names? That's insane...I am glad though that she's finally given birth poor thing, she was looking so miserable. Best wishes to Gwen and her family!

Nicole said:

I hope it's not Zuma but I will not be surprised. Congrats anyway!!

Hey, my best friend name is zima and i think it's a beautiful name, so is zuma. But probably it's not true.

said:

I knew they would have another boy!

Nicole said:

I knew it was a boy! I really don't like this name, but I'm sure he'll be as cute as Kingston.

mom2two said:

I read that it was a girl...

Rosy J said:

Congrats Gwen. It seemed like forever. As for the name, well, it's your call right?

Intresesting name!

Elly said:

Zuma is a VERY WEIRD name...It's not as weird as Apple, Coco or Bluebell, but this poor child will be teased all the time...

Congratulations for them anyway...And I'm sure that baby Zuma will be soooooo cute...just like Kingston!! :D

and they said dont expect any crazy names....

Rinoa said:

I hate this name! Not Zuma so much as the both middle names too. But I know it's their kid and their choice of course!! :) I'm glad that everyone's healthy!

They seem to like place names. One's named after a city, the other's name is a beach in California.

The other kids will call them King and Zoom!

Nicole said:

Mom2two, did you read it on JustJared? He apparently can't read.

Devon said:

Is this name even for real?? It seems like a joke.

erica said:

Well maybe Zuma was conceived on the beach in California? lol Because Kingston is named after a place Gwen and Gavin visited and bought a baby beanie hat for their first child that they kept for years until Kingston was born...etc so who knows! Congrats to them!

What a bizarre name. What is wrong with these people?

Congrats to the Steffani-Rossdale Family!!!!
Poor Gwen, it really was about time to pop. Im sorry to say, I really dislike the name this time, too bad it wasnt as cte as "Kingston", Im sure the baby is amazingly adorable just like his older brother. Congrats again & Much Blessings & Well wishes

Paula said:

I know Kingston is going to be a great BIG brother (no matter his brothers name)! Congrats Gwen & Gavin!

amanda said:

they did state to NOT expect a CRAZY name from them for the baby and what do they do?turn around and name it one of the oddest names I've ever heard...

amanda said:

btw wow!an eight pound baby!no wonder she was so huge!

I wonder if they know that "Zuma" is a very controversial politician in South Africa who will probably be the president of South Africa in the next election if he is not convicted of corruption (for which he is being tried now plus he has numerous other run-ins with the law) ... not a good association.

julie said:

@ Anon 25 : My thought exactly, the first thing that came to my mind was the politician, and, not a good association indeed!

Congrats to the family, but I really hate the name too. I actually didn't know it was even a first name.....

Amanda said:

I have to agree with the rest, I am not a fan of the name. As long as everyone is healthy that's the most important.

Angela said:

Congrats to Gwen and Gavin! I thought that they would have a girl. Maybe next time! I don't like the name Zuma, its horrible! And Kingston is such a cute name.

Rachel said:

Congrats to Gwen and Gavin on their 2nd Son! I think his name is quite nice but not as cute as Kingston's. I bet he will be just be adorable. I can't wait to see pictures. :)

Janie said:

That name sounds ridiculous!

Dea said:

Are they Italian by any chance? Zuma sounds Italian to me..

Hannah said:

Gwen's dad is half Italian but i don't think that is the reason they called him Zuma.

I'm sure soon we'll be used to hearing it - and won't think twice, but it's definitely a unique name.
