The Beckham Boys Visit The Coliseum
| Jan 12, 2009 by NICOLE |
Victoria Beckham took her sons Brooklyn, 9 1/2, Romeo, 6, and Cruz, 4 next month, to the Coliseum in Rome, Italy last Saturday. The boys posed with old-time Roman soldiers as their mom took pictures, and then the family explored the surrounding areas. They have been in Rome while their dad is on loan to Italy's soccer team.
The Coliseum was opened in 80 A.D. and was used to showcase great fights, shows and hunts involving the killing of thousands of animals. People from all over Rome were allowed admittance for free, and it could hold up to seventy thousand spectators. After it fell into disuse, it was threatened with demolition, until Pope Benedict XIV declared it a a sacred monument dedicated to the Passion of Christ. Since then, it has become an object of worship for Christians and one of Rome's most popular tourist attractions.

OMG I love these boys! Romeo looks adorable, and Cruz is quite the character, i love seeing pictures of this family
The kids are so cute!! But Victoria- ugh, give it a rest already! I think she takes herself far too seriously, she's like a caricature.
