I don't believe he is short. According to the reports from the Sherlock Holmes movie set, he is about 4 inches taller than Robert Downey Jr. RDJ can't be a midget, can he? I think RDJ is 5'7", so Jude is about 5'10" or 5'11" which squares with his profile on IMDb.
