Matthew Broderick & James Wilke Out For A West Village Walk

Actor Matthew Broderick was spotted walking his 6-year-old son James Wilke to school in the West Village yesterday.

The 47-year-old actor and wife, Sex and the City’s Sarah Jessica Parker, 44, are also parents to 5-month-old twin girls, Tabitha and Marion.

Yesterday (November 23) it was revealed that police chief Barry Carpenter, 40, who was accused of breaking into the home of Sarah and Matthew’s surrogate mother, Michelle Ross, and offering stolen goods to freelance photographers, was found to be guilty of three of the six counts against him. Carpenter faces up to 10 years in prison for receiving stolen property, theft in office and tampering with evidence.

The Martin’s Ferry police chief, who claims he only went into Michelle’s home to “secure the premises” after seeing that her door was open, will be sentenced on December 10. Until then he will be required to stay at his mother’s home and wear an electronic tag to monitor his movements.

“I stand by what I say. I didn’t burglarize no home,” said Carpenter in a videotaped interview. “I don’t want to give up a 17-year police career for something that was a joke.”

His alleged accomplice, Chief Chat M. Dojack, 29, will go to trial in the new year.
