Matthew Broderick & His Bundled Up Boy

Matthew Broderick walked his 7-year-old son James to school bundled up in his winter gear on Wednesday (January 20). The Ferris Bueller's Day Off star brought along his camera and carried his son's backpack in the chilly New York weather.

Matthew recently commented on what he's learned about fatherhood.

The father thing is basically improv. I'm just making it up as we go along. I love being a father, but I don't have any advice about it. I guess I could say the same thing about my marriage, basically. It just develops and changes and I'm very lucky with who I ended up. And we've been together a pretty long time."

Matthew, 47, and his wife Sarah Jessica Parker, 44, are also parents to 6-month-old twin girls, Marion and Tabitha.
