Teri Hatcher and her 12-year-old daughter Emerson Rose made a pretty pair as they took a walk with their pup in Los Angeles, California this afternoon (February 4). The happy duo also stopped in for a bite to eat at Maison Et Cafe.
Emerson's dad is Teri's ex-husband, actor Jon Tenney.

Wowzers Emerson sure went through a major growth spurt.
omg, she's like only 12 and already that tall.
Yeah shes just 12 but shes almost as tall as her mom! Such a pretty young lady.
Emerson is such a beautiful girl, she looks cute here.
Honestly, I think she looks, acts, and dresses as if she's 17: that is, inappropriately for a 12 year-old.

Baboon-- I'm sorry, but what is inappropriate in this pic? She's wearing jeans and a shirt, walking her dog, and holding her mother's hand. None of that strikes me as "17 year-old-ish"!
*...or rather, none of it strikes me as being inappropriate behaviour for a 12 year-old...
Well, it's true that my comment was not the result of this set of pictures alone but of all the coverage that I've seen of mother and daughter during the last few years. The way Emerson seems to be aware of the paparazzi, the way she poses in official occasions, the way she is "styled", the "my-mom-is-my-best-friend" attitude, etc. that to me appears if not inappropriate at least devoid of that candor that I hope 12-year old girls still have...
I realize this is probably an isolated opinion.
