Charlie Condou Welcomes Baby No. 2: Hal
| Jan 13, 2012 by LISA ESTALL |

It's a boy for Coronation Street star Charlie Condou! The baby was born on Wednesday, January 11 by the actor's friend, Catherine Kanter. She conceived through IVF. Condou and his boyfriend Cameron Laux already have a 2-year-old daughter named Georgia Mae, also born by Kanter.
Condou - who plays Marcus Dent on the British soap - thanked fans on this Twitter page and even revealed his son's name.
He wrote: "Happy Birthday Hal Condou."
The actor later added: "Thanks for all your messages. Obviously I don't know him very well yet, but he seems like a lovely bloke #HalCondou."
Condou, also a columnist for The Guardian, had his article published today regarding the planned birth.
So this is it. By the time you read this, all being well, my son will be here and our family will be complete. Catherine is having an elective caesarean, which gives us the advantage of knowing the date of delivery well in advance. It also looks like Cam and I will both be there for the birth. Last time, it was just me when Catherine had Georgia in an emergency caesarean. Another bonus of the elective route is that we've been able to get clearance for both dads to be present in the operating theatre."
Condou is also godfather to Stellan, son of Paul Bettany and Jennifer Connelly.
