Ashlee Simpson Gushes About Her Happy Home Life

Ashlee Simpson Gushes About Her Happy Home Life

Happy mom Ashlee Simpson says life is good.

Now back to work on the new Melrose Place, Ashlee reveals that her return to acting has been a pretty easy transition.

“For me, it’s good. I’m home in L.A., it’s comfortable with me and my son. I like to work, so I get to do both.”

As for her home life with her “best friend” and husband Pete Wentz and their 8 1/2-month-old son Bronx Mowgli, the 24-year-old gushes to OK! that she loves “everything” about being a mom.

“Motherhood has made me everything that I am. It’s made me the happiest I’ve ever been in my life. I don’t think you ever know until you have a child what an amazing experience it is.”

She adds that little Bronx makes every day interesting as he learns new things and makes new discoveries.

“Every week, I’m learning something new from him and every week, he’s doing something new. He’s crawling and he’s got six teeth now. He says ‘mama’ and ‘dada.’ He loves music. Lately, he likes classic rock and Broadway music! My home life is all about Bronx.”

Zuma Rossdale: Born To Rock

Zuma Rossdale: Born To Rock

Looks like Zuma, 1 this month, is taking after his rock star parents: The littlest Rossdale was spotted at the airport with his mom Gwen Stefani and big brother Kingston, 3, yesterday sporting a bib that read, “Born to rock.”

Dad Gavin Rossdale wasn’t with the threesome as they jetted out of LAX, presumbly headed to Hawaii, where Gwen is next scheduled to perform.

The No Doubt singer recently got a bit of praise from 24-year-old rising star Katy Perry, who took to Twitter after the band’s California show to gush, “When I grow up I wanna be just like Gwen Stefani.”

Giveaway: Your Baby Can Read!

Giveaway: Your Baby Can Read!

The Deluxe Edition of the Your Baby Can Read! program offers a multi-sensory approach to early reading skills with a complete set of interrelated books, cards, activities and music, all of which work together to open up a new world of communication for even the youngest children. Dr. Titzer designed this scientifically-based program that builds on the fundamental principle that reading is a natural extension of a young child’s acquisition of spoken language, and that waiting until the age of five or six to learn to read misses a key developmental window in a baby’s life.

The Your Baby Can Read! Deluxe Edition offers a comprehensive system of easy-to-use, interactive DVD’s, double-sided interactive sliding word and picture cards, lift-the-flap books, a helpful parents’ guide, a music CD and more. This multi-sensory approach, aimed at children from birth to 5 years, allows parents to get the most out of the Your Baby Can Read! program.

Dr Titzer’s efforts to promote reading from birth to toddler years, at the same time children are learning the spoken word, has captured the interest of educators, researchers, parents, government agencies and the media worldwide.

We are giving away a Your Baby Can Read! Deluxe Kit ($199 value) to one of our lucky readers.
