Zuma Visits Grandma & Grandpa Stefani

Zuma Visits Grandma & Grandpa Stefani

Gwen Stefani was seen arriving at her parents house with 6-month-old Zuma for a birthday party on the weekend.

Gwen is very close with her family and is often photographed at her parents home in California. Her father Dennis Stefani is of Italian heritage and her mother Patti (née Flynn) is of Irish and Scottish descent. The 39-year-old singer and fashion designer is the second oldest of four children; she has a younger sister, Jill, a younger brother, Todd, and an older brother, Eric.

What do you think – is Zuma a mini Grandpa Stefani? I can definitely see a resemblance. ;)

Michelle Williams: I Won’t Raise Matilda In LA

It’s been a difficult year for Michelle, 28, following the death of her former fiance – and father to her 3-year-old daughter Matilda – Heath Ledger. The Oscar-nominated actress hasn’t worked in 9 months, and while she plans to return to the set soon, she tells the Daily Telegraph that she’s not ready quite yet. “I felt burnt out, I still feel that, but I’m coming back to my wits, little by little. But ultimately I am not yet ready to work.”

A single mom, Michelle admits that the “working mother thing is kind of a fallacy – it’s hard to do both things well.” But, she adds that she worries her life “might end as a pile of dishes” if she doesn’t return some focus to her career soon.

The normally very private actress can often be seen walking through her Brooklyn neighborhood with Matilda in tow. She says that she can’t imagine raising her in Hollywood.

    Lost‘s Elizabeth Mitchell Talks Motherhood

On kids being a source of inspiration: “Having a baby has absolutely increased what I am capable of doing creatively. When you have a baby, you are so tired, but your heart grows. His whole world becomes magic. As a parent, you realize you are a maker of that magic. That’s one of your jobs besides all of the practical stuff: whether or not your child loves all these things, like singing and music, has a lot to do with the way you present them.”

On sleep deprivation: “I cannot be someone who is not there at all hours. If CJ wakes up in the middle of the night, then I am going to be there, and we are going to figure out how to go back to sleep. For the first year, he just did not sleep, and now he sleeps like a rock. I think this is because I put so much time in with him back then. You stop worrying about dumb things, and you really just start doing the things that are most essential.”
