After a whirlwind year which included an Academy Award, a cheating scandal, and a newly adopted child, Sandra Bullock has announced she’s taking a breather from the Hollywood life.
Sandra wants to focus on being a mom to new baby Louis and to take some time to herself to heal some old wounds: “All I know is that I want to be able to enjoy being a mom. Doing all the things moms get to do, outside in the sun, in the world. The career will have to wait for a bit. I don’t want to step into that world until I can find out what room I left my armour in. You need tough skin to be in this business. I don’t have tough skin right now and I don’t want it.”
One friend Sandra may want to hang out with is comedian George Lopez, who recently told Extra he was one of the lucky few to meet Louis before Sandra announced his adoption to the world. He says he and wife Ann are “proud uncle and aunt” to Louis, and calls Sandra his “godmother.”
An expectant Sofia Coppola was spotted strolling in the West Village, New York City, with her partner Thomas Mars on Tuesday (May 4).
