Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at Celebrity Baby Scoop! We hope all of you hard working moms are treated like celebrities on this very special day!
The CBS family consists of busy moms who love to celebrate all-things celebrity babies. In this special post, we’d like to introduce you to our own families. Please enjoy some pictures of our little celebrities and help us celebrate our own beloved mothers: Carole, Odell, Angela and Liz!
Lisa, mother of 3:
The Godmother of Celebrity Baby Scoop is Lisa: mother of Grace, 7, Abigail, 6, and Graham, 4. Lisa’s own mother is Carole, a retired teacher, who instilled values of hard work ethic and self-assurance:
”I always remember her telling me you can do anything you set your mind to.” Lisa recalls. “[She always said] never give up. Because of her I have an incredible drive.”
Jenny, mother of 2:
I am the Senior Editor of CBS and proud mother of Gavin, 3, and Ava, 6 months. My own mother, Odell, is a retired teacher. Like Carole, she instilled a strong work ethic as well as the value of an education. That being said, I’d be remiss to not mention ‘the’ saying I always heard: “Stick with the girls, Jen.” It may not be Confucius folks, but she was wise to encourage me to nurture my female friendships. This ‘silly’ saying instilled a strong sense of self and taught me not to give my power away to the opposite sex.
Heidi, mother of 2:
Heidi writes us stories, breaking news and the Latest Dish. She is mom to two young boys, Sawyer, 1, and Cooper, 2. Heidi’s own mother, Angela, a retail manager has always encouraged her to make empowered choices:
“[My mom has always said] even if others don’t agree with the choices you make in life, just remember those are your choices, and you have to do what is right for you and your family.”
Carolyn, mother of 1:
Carolyn brings us stories and breaking news. She is mom to 3-year-old Maddie. Carolyn’s mother, Liz, a retired nurse turned full-time grandma, has always encouraged her to treat others as she would want to be treated:
“[She would always say] what goes around comes around. Try your best to be good to people and to do good things – it’ll probably come back to you eventually. The same rule applies when you do not-so-good things!” Carolyn recalls one other sage piece of advice from her mom: “Any time you have an excuse to laugh, do it!”
From our families to yours, Happy Mother’s Day!
