Jim Carrey’s Daughter Jane Welcomes Baby Boy Jackson Riley!

Jane Carrey, daughter of Canadian funnyman, Jim Carrey, and husband Alex Santana have welcomed their first child!

Baby boy Jackson Riley arrived Friday (February 26) at 12:28am in Los Angeles, reports PEOPLE. He weighed in at 7lbs, 11oz, and measured 20 inches in length.

During her pregnancy, the 22-year-old Jane Carrey Band singer expressed how happy she was to be expecting:

I’ve always wanted to be a mother… and I’ve always wanted to do music, so to have the two together, it’s just awesome, it’s a dream come true.

Her father was also ecstatic about the news, saying, “Jane is going to be a great mom.”

Late Tuesday night, Jim, 47, took to Twitter with a cryptic message: “something beautiful is right around the corner!” We can only assume little Jackson was the “something beautiful” he was talking about!

Congratulations to the entire Carrey-Santana family!

Maria Bello & Son Help Out In Haiti

Maria Bello & Son Help Out In Haiti

Maria Bello is in the running for an Independent Spirit Award for her provocative role in Downloading Nancy and is currently co-starring with William Hurt and Kristen Stewart in The Yellow Handkerchief. The 42-year-old mother of one opened up to Parade about how she – and her 9-year-old son Jack – have made helping the recovery effort in Haiti a serious priority.

On her commitment to Haiti relief: “There’s so much that still needs to be done. I’ve been there twice in the last month. The first time, I witnessed amputations with no anesthesia. Little kids getting no painkillers. I’ve been back working in a 75,000 person refuge camp where the people are still facing the secondary wave of diseases and infections. I believe tens of thousands of more people are going to die in the next few months if we don’t keep our eyes on Haiti. It’s our responsibility — the media’s responsibility — to not take our eyes away.”
