It has been 7 months since the tragic passing of Patrick Swayze, and the actors wife, Lisa Niemi, has revealed her biggest regret in life; not taking the steps to look into the couples infertility. The Dirty Dancing star and actress/dancer Niemi, who were married in 1975 suffered a miscarriage, and Niemi shared with Globe magazine via Hello Magazine.com, “We should have probably investigated with fertility doctors, but we didn’t.”
The couple reportedly considered adopting a child from Russia before Swayze fell ill from Pancreatic cancer, and now Niemi is hoping to adopt on her own, saying, “Other single people do (adopt)… I’ve always wanted a child.”
Ghost star Swayze, who starred in a long list of Blockbuster hits, and Niemi met in 1970 when the actor was only 18. He was 57 when he lost his battle to pancreatic cancer, 20 months after being diagnosed.

Mom-of-four Rhea Durham was spotted yesterday (April 14) making a Starbucks run with adorable daughter Ella. The 31-year-old multi-tasking mama looked to have to have her hands quite full, holding a sheet of bristol board and her beverage amongst other things, while Ella enjoyed an ice cream cone!
Along with 5-year-old Ella, Rhea and husband Mark Wahlberg are also parents to 3-year-old Michael, 1 year-old Brendan, and newborn daughter Grace, 3 months. Award-winning actress Julianna Margulies sizzles on the cover of the May 2010 issue of W magazine. From an “amazing” job to a very happy home life with her husband Keith Lieberthal and their 2-year-old son Kieran, the 43-year-old star of The Good Wife talks about having it all.
On her surprise pregnancy: “I was never much of a kid person. I mean, I thought they were cute to look at, but I didn’t want them in my house….. [My pregnancy] was a total surprise. But I said, ‘Okay, I guess we’ll roll with it.’”
On her laid-back beauty regime: “Someone recently asked me the last time I had a facial. What am I going to say to my child? ‘I know you don’t see me all week long, so Mommy’s going to go get a facial on Saturday?’ I know this is going to sound corny, but I love my life. I love my baby, so I love getting to wake up with him. And I have the most amazing job…. And I love coming home to my husband. If I had a job I hated or a husband who I was always fighting with, then I would look tired.”
