Yet another rumor is swirling around Hollywood: that singer Mariah Carey is expecting her first child with husband Nick Cannon!
According to PageSix, Mariah was spotted coming out of a well-known ob/gyn’s office on North Crescent Boulevard, “clutching what looked like a sonogram and being greeted by her entourage with cheers. She was ebullient.”
Adding to that, Mariah spoke to Britain’s Hello! magazine, and she wasn’t exactly denying the news!
“People are constantly asking me if I’m pregnant, but I don’t like to talk about it too much. I just think about it as the next phase. We’ll see.”
She also added that she and her husband “would make good parents,” and that she’s “changed her mind [ about becoming a mother]” because she’s with “the one.”
“I think we would make good parents, and that we’d be able to figure out how to do it properly.”
Do you think she could be pregnant?
10-year-old Bindi and 5-year-old Bob Irwin are on the the cover of the Australian Women’s Weekly magazine this month! Joining them is 7-year-old Sophie Delezio, the little girl who touched Australia’s heart after she suffered burns to 85% of her body in a pre-Christmas accident five years ago. The three children participated in a Christmas photoshoot that took place at the Australia Zoo, with the girls dressed as sugar plum fairies and Bob as a little drummer boy. The Irwin children treated Sophie, an animal lover, to a special tour of the Australia Zoo near Beerwah in Queensland.View Slideshow »»
With Naomi Watts out and about nearly every day, it definitely feels like she’s been pregnant forever – and it’s not only our readers convinced that her little one is due soon! Even fiance Liev Schreiber says the time is getting close.
“Soon,” Schreiber said on Friday. “Our first baby came early and I suspect this one will as well.”
The new baby will join big brother Sasha, 16 months, who was born nearly two weeks ahead of his due date in 2007. Adding to speculation that Naomi is due soon is the fact that her mom was spotted out and about with Liev and Sasha yesterday after flying in from Australia.
Nicole Kidman last teamed up with director Baz Lurhman when she was singing and dancing in Moulin Rouge. Now she’s riding horses across the Australian Outback in Luhrman’s sweeping epic Australia. Nicole plays a prim and proper Englishwoman trying to save her cattle farm from foreclosure with the help of a handsome cowboy played by People‘s “Sexiest Man Alive” Hugh Jackman. Nicole recently sat down with Parade and discussed her new movie and how she became pregnant with Sunday Rose in the middle of filming.
On if the diary she kept during filming will be published: “I was going to release it in conjunction with the film. Then I went, ‘Oh, this is too personal, I can’t let people read this.’ Some of it has ended up in the press so people have read excerpts, but I’m trying to keep the rest private. This film was a very personal journey for me. I became pregnant, so I got my daughter out of it. It was a combination of many, many things for me. I’ve always wanted to make a grand love story because that’s where I’m at in my life right now.”
On when she discovered she was pregnant: “After I’d been riding horses at a full gallop all over the Outback. We went into a studio in Sydney to do some dubbing and that’s when I found out. It was a total surprise but good timing.”
On what films like Australia give her: “In a strange way, it has saved my life because it has been giving me the chance to express things that I wouldn’t have had the chance to do otherwise. The older I get the more I feel like I’m on a roller coaster when I do a film. I’ll be kind of brave and throw myself into it and not worry if I fall flat on my face. It’s easy to become frightened of making a fool of yourself, particularly if, like mine, your nature is a bit reticent and shy to begin with. But I’m getting over it.”
Marcia Cross takes one of her 1 1/2-year-old twins, Savannah, shopping on Montana Avenue after spending the morning filming for her hit TV show. Marcia was carrying some cough medicine as well.
