Songstress Celine Dion has been very open about her struggle with infertility, and how she has chosen to use In-Vitro Fertilization to become pregnant for the second time, after welcoming son René-Charles nine years ago via IVF.
In an interview on The Wendy Williams Show, via Contact Music, Dion, who has been married to René Angélil since 1994, has shared that “five” is her lucky number and that the couple are waiting on good news, they hope,
Well we’re crossing our fingers. We’re waiting for good news hopefully. I don’t want to talk about it so much because I’m superstitious, but I know people have been very wonderful for us and praying for us. Right now we are crossing our fingers, we hope for the best and I can’t wait to give people good news.”
She then acknowledged the lack of privacy that she has, being in the spotlight, “Once you live in showbusiness and everything spreads out so quick and every pregnancy you have to wait three months to make sure it’s all okay and it’s nerve racking. We’re not getting any younger and you always think it’s your last chance, you’re last try.”
Dion, who has remained strong throughout the battle then repeated what she has shared in the past, saying, “I’m going to try until it works. Five’s my lucky number, so this is the time it’s got to work.”
Rocker Gwen Stefani has raised a few eyebrows lately after being spotted wearing Seabands, often used to battle morning sickness, sporting baggy shirts, and sometimes rubbing her belly, leaving us wondering if perhaps baby number three is on it’s way.
A rep for the No Doubt singer shot down the rumors, telling E! Online that Stefani is not pregnant.
Stefani, 40, and husband Gavin Rossdale are already parents to 4-year-old Kingston, and 1 1/2 year old Zuma.
What do you think, is Gwen really pregnant?
Former Fugee Wyclef Jean is reaching out to his friends, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie to adopt from his native country, which has been devastated by earthquakes this year. Jean told US Weekly,
Brad and Angie, please! Please adopt a child from Haiti!”
A Haitian adoption may not be that far off for the couple. Jolie spoke with CNN in February after visiting the country for 3 days and said, “I’m always open to children around the world. We’re that kind of a family; Brad and I talk about that.”
Jean seems to truly respect the couple and recently said of the parents-of-six, “They’re inseparable, and it’s just rare within the universe that you get that kind of love. They’re really, really inseparable.”
Former Ugly Betty star Rebecca Romijn and husband Jerry O’Connell welcomed twin daughters Charlie and Dolly 16-months-ago. The family-of-four are often spotted together enjoying family time, and appear to be a down-to-earth family. In an interview with lilsugar, the model-mom, opened up about how she and O’Connell are letting their daughters choose their own path without putting any labels on them.
On divulging birth order to their children: “This may sound strange, but we decided before they were born — I had a c-section so they both came out at the same time — that they wouldn’t know which one was born first. Technically, one did come out first, but we feel like a lot of twins get to brag —”I was born five minutes earlier. I was born first.” and the truth is they shared the womb. We’re also curious to see if the one who is older naturally takes on that first sibling role.”
On dressing the girls alike: “I like to coordinate them, but I don’t like to match them. It’s funny because I know they are seconds away from having very strong opinions on what they wear so I’m taking advantage of these last few months where I dress them how I want. I usually give them choices and say, “Do you want to wear this or that?” and they pick.”

“At that age they like to be in control of everything, so I let him choose,” the L.A.M.B. designer says. “Luckily, everything in his closet is cute so no matter what he picks, he’s gonna look good. For a while he was into costumes. Now he doesn’t even want to wear shoes.”
