Paz Vega and husband Orson Salazar have revealed to Hola! magazine that they are expecting baby no. 3 in September! Though the couple had always planned on having more children, they admit that the news was unexpected.
“It’s a surprise,” says the 34-year-old Spanglish star. “This baby came a bit soon, but we’re thrilled and happy.”
Just thirteen weeks along, Paz says she wanted to wait until the end of her first trimester to share the exciting news: “Ava’s birth was very recent,” she explains. “And I have had two c-sections.”
Paz and Orson, who are already parents to son Orson, 2 ½, and Ava, 7 ½-months, are already trying to think up baby names: “Orson prefers a boy,” shares the soon-to-be mom-of-three. “Personally I have always liked boys, but if it’s a girl, marvelous, because I was raised among women.”
Congratulations to the Vega-Salazars!
It looks as though 2010 is going to be a much better year for supermodel Cindy Crawford.
Last year was incredibly tough on the mom-of-two as she was the victim of an alleged extortion over an inappropriate and upsetting photo of her now 8-year-old daughter, Kaia. Cindy, who is also mom to 10-year-old Presley – now reveals that she has put the entire ordeal behind her.
“It’s over,” she told Life & Style at the JC Penney Cindy Crawford Style Home Collection event in NYC on March 2. “In my head, it’s over.”
Thankfully she had had her adoring husband of eleven years, Rande Gerber, by her side throughout everything.
On how she and Rande keep the passion in their marriage: “Rande and I were friends first; I think that’s the constant. The other stuff goes in and out. We’re really busy and always running around, but we respect each other, and we’re friends first, so that goes a long way.”
On whether or not the couple would like more kids: “The ticking of the clock has stopped, I think!”
On whether she’d consider adopting a child: “At this point, our life is very full. But I wouldn’t rule it out.”
On if she’d like her children to go into modeling or acting: “I wouldn’t want them to, but I wouldn’t discourage them. They’ll have to find what excites them. My daughter loves drama, so possibly. She’s a drama queen!”
She’s getting so big! Jennifer Garner helped her 14-month-old daughter Seraphina walk after picking up 4-year-old daughter Violet from preschool in Santa Monica on Thursday (March 11). Seraphina looked so proud of herself walking with mom in those cute pink overalls.
Yesterday, we saw Jen and Sera heading out for a coffee date while Violet was at class.
The girls’ father is Jennifer’s hunky hubby, Ben Affleck.View Slideshow »»
Having emerged from a difficult divorce from her husband of 2 years Daniel Giersch, actress Kelly Rutherford is finding hope and happiness in her kids Hermes, 3, and Helena, 9 months. The Gossip Girl star recently chatted to Working Mother magazine about the challenges of marriage and motherhood, and the lessons she’s learned along the way.
On the pressures faced by today’s working moms-to-be: “We work up until the last minute, whether we’re throwing up or not! Then we’re expected to give birth in two seconds or we get a C-section, because doctors are in a rush. We barely sleep the first months of our child’s life, but we’re expected to get back into our skinny jeans right away.”
Real Housewives of New York City star Bethenny Frankel attended the Bravo’s 2010 Upfront Party at Skylight Studio in New York City on Wednesday (March 10). The mom-to-be flaunted her gorgeous baby bump in a snug black dress.
Bethenny, who is in the midst of planning her wedding to fiancé Jason Hoppy, recently dished on her pregnancy cravings.
Your diet is still a bank account [when you’re pregnant], you just have more to spend. I am not drinking alcohol or that much coffee but I’m craving orange juice. And split pea soup — it is like somebody else eating hot fudge. I could die over it. I had a moment a few days ago with a corn beef sandwich. It was like food porn. I was enjoying it so much that it should have been illegal.”
Matt Damon loves New York. After relocating to the Big Apple from Miami last year, the famous dad says that he and his wife Luciana Barrosa and their girls have no plans to leave.
“They’re all thriving. That’s why we’re so excited about it here,” Matt tells the USA Today of stepdaughter Alexia, 11, and daughters Isabella, 3, and Gia, 1. “We’re not leaving. Nobody bothers me. The younger ones are not aware of any of the celebrity (stuff). We walk to school every morning. We play in the park. It feels like a normal life.”
