Nicole Kidman credits the “fertility waters” of a small Australian Outback town for her pregnancy, as well as the pregnancies of 6 other women that swam in the same waters. Nicole told The Australian Women’s Weekly,
“I never thought that I would get pregnant and give birth to a child, but it happened on this movie. Seven babies were conceived out of this film and only one was a boy.” Nicole added, “There is something up there in the Kununurra water because we all went swimming in the waterfalls, so we can call it the fertility waters now.”

The actress, who has been very open about a miscarriage while married to Tom Cruise, says of starting fresh again at 41,
“I never thought that I would get pregnant and give birth to a child, but it happened on this movie. To be given this again is a beautiful thing. To have raised Bella and Connor since I was 25 and now to be able to do it again at 41 … wow!”
There has been much discussion about Nicoles’ slim figure during and immediately after her pregnancy. Nicole, who measures in at 5′ 10 1/2″, told the magazine,
“I’m so lucky I’m so tall, so I carried small. Also, I have to say, I had a birth that I was blessed with, a labor that was very good and a baby that was very good to me in that regard.”
Nicole and husband Keith Urban welcomed daughter Sunday Rose on July 7th.

Kate Moss, 34, and The Kills rocker Jamie Hince, 39, split earlier this month, reportedly over the fact that Kate wants to have another baby and Jamie was reluctant to the idea. A source close to the musician said Jamie regrets this decision and is trying to win Kate back and start a family with her,
“Jamie is upset that Kate is being painted as this party animal who ruined their relationship with her wild ways. The reality is far from that. In fact, they split over her desire to start trying for a baby. Jamie told her he didn’t want to commit to that while things were going so well with his band and he was away on tour so much. But she argued that could remain the case for years and she didn’t want to wait that long. He is ready to back down over the baby issue to save his relationship. He’s sure they can get things back on track.”
Kate has a daughter, Lila Grace, who is just shy of her sixth birthday, with Dazed & Confused editor Jefferson Hack.

Meg Ryan’s new movie, The Women, is in theaters now, and the 46-year-old mom of two spoke with InStyle magazine about her kids – and also, for the first time, her affair with Russell Crowe and the problems she was having with then-husband Dennis Quaid.
Having not been in the spotlight for a few years, Meg says she’s focusing on her two children, Jack Henry, 16, and Daisy True, 3 1/2, whom she adopted from China in 2006.
On Daisy: “As mysterious and magical as it is to have a baby you gave birth to, I have that exact same thing with Daisy,” Ryan says. “I feel like we made some agreement, long ago and far away, to meet in the way we did.”

About her 10-year marriage to Dennis Quaid: “Dennis was not faithful to me for a long time, and that was very painful,” she says, adding, “I am not a victim. I was there. I was in that marriage for a really long time.”
On being involved with Russell at the end of her marriage: “Russell didn’t break up the marriage,” she says. “I was a mess. I hurt him too at the end. I couldn’t be in another long relationship. It wasn’t the time for that. So I got out.”
Whatever happened back then, everyone has clearly moved on – Meg has a new daughter and is raising her son; Dennis Quaid is married to Kimberly Buffington and they have 10-month-old twins Thomas and Zoe; and Russell Crowe is now married to Danielle Spencer and they have two sons, Charlie, 4 1/2, and Tennyson, 2.
