Uma Thurman: Her Ring & Her Boy

Uma Thurman: Her Ring & Her Boy

The ring is back on! After she was caught canoodling with her ex-fiance Arpad “Arki” Busson yesterday, Uma Thurman was spotted picking up her 8-year-old son Levon from school today (January 20) with a sizeable rock on her ring finger. Although the couple just announced their separation, they seem to have reconciled.

Uma and her ex-husband Ethan Hawke are also parents to 11-year-old daughter Maya, while Arki and ex-girlfriend, supermodel Elle Macpherson, are parents to sons Flynn, 11, and Cy, 6.

Tried, Tested & True: Ergo Baby Carrier!

When Ergobaby sent me the Organic Dark Chocolate Ergo for review I was beyond excited to try it out! Over the years I have heard nothing but positive feedback on this carrier and now after testing it out myself I can completely understand what all the fuss is about! We've seen Ethan Hawke carrying his precious Clementine and Karolina Korkova toting baby Tobin with the Ergo Baby Carrier. Even Kelly Rutherford and Carrie Ann Moss are fans of this fabulous product!

As a babywearing mother I've tried pretty much everything. Ring slings, structured carriers, pouches and mei tais; you name it I've tried it! With most of the carriers I have tried in the past, pressure and stress build in my shoulders and neck after prolonged periods of "backpacking" my baby. What makes the Ergobaby carrier so fabulous is its ergonomic design which not only disperses most of the baby's weight in a natural sitting position but it also alleviates physical stress for the parent by balancing the baby's weight between your hips ad shoulders. I can carry my 12-month-old daughter around for 2 hours straight with no pain or stress in my back or shoulders! The one inch high-density foam in the shoulder straps and quarter inch high-density neoprene foam in the waist band give an added amount of comfort.

My favourite feature of this carrier is the attached sleeping hood which supports my daughters head when she ends up falling asleep. The straps have a row of snaps to adjust the fit depending on the parent or size of the child. This gives complete piece of mind and eliminates the worry of whether or not your child's head is falling from side to side while napping on your back . It is also a great way to shade smaller babies from the sun during outings or hikes.

You can wear your baby on your hip, back or front depending on preference and every feature on this carrier is adjustable so it can be used by any member in your family regardless of weight or size.

If you have a smaller child, the infant insert is a new design with padded cushioning intended to support the natural curvature of a baby's developing spine. It is sold separetely and is to be used from newborns to 4-5 month old children. Sucking pads, weather covers, front pouches and changing pads are also available.

The Ergobaby carrier is highly durable, made from 14 ounce cotton canvas, reinforced stitching at all fabric intersections and high quality buckles tested by SGS. It is currently available in 5 standard colours and 8 organic colour choices.

The award-winning Ergobaby is the only carrier you will ever need! It may not be the most glamorous looking carrier on the market but it is definitely one of the best!

Kimora Lee Simmons Hopes Kenzo Is A “Momma’s Boy”

Kimora Lee Simmons Hopes Kenzo Is A "Momma's Boy"

Mom-of-three Kimora Lee Simmons is discovering there’s a world of difference between boys and girls.

The Phat Fashions CEO reveals that her 8-month-old son Kenzo doesn’t have too much in common with his big sisters Ming, 9, and Aoki, 7.

“He’s not that old yet for me to know for sure, but I can tell you from the older ones, girls are made of sugar and spice and everything nice,” she tells US. “Girls, whatever you’re doing, they want it – the makeup brush, the doll, the this, the that. He’s just kind of cool. He wants his stackable cups or his rubber trucks. He’s very manly!”

Though Kimora says that little Kenzo takes after his dad Djimon Hounsou so far, she’s confesses, “I’m trying to turn him into a momma’s boy.”
