After months of eager anticipation, mom-to-be Kendra Wilkinson has learned that she’s expecting a boy!
“I just left the doctor’s office and I couldn’t wait another minute to tell you guys … Hank and I are having a baby boy !!!!!!!!!!!!” a very excited Kendra wrote on her blog today. “When the doctor told me I was just like OH MY GOD, I’m going to have a son!!!!! Today is certainly always going to be one of the most memorable days of my life!”
“Whether this little guy is a jock or not, he’s definitely going to be a mama’s boy,” Kendra continues. “And there’s no doubt he’s gonna be a handsome one … just look at his dad!”
The 24-year-old Girls Next Door star and her new husband, Philadelphia Eagles player Hank Baskett, have been counting the days until they could find out whether they’ll be bringing up a little boy or girl. The news is just what Hank was hoping to hear: Earlier this year the expectant dad told E!, “I want a boy—someone to look out for the baby girl coming next.”
Saying she‘s looking forward to “stocking his closet full of teeny tiny Eagles jerseys,” Kendra adds, “We can’t wait to meet our son!!!! Christmas Day and dirty diapers can’t come soon enough.”
Update: Kourntey confirms to E! Online that the father is in fact Scott Disick.
The 30-year-old reality TV star, whose sexuality was recently under question because of a same sex kiss she shared on set with her friend Jackie, isn’t sharing too many details at the moment – she’s keeping the father’s identity a secret and hasn’t revealed how far along she is.
Kourtney refused to say whether or not she and ex-boyfriend Scott Disick are back together: “You’re going to have to see the show,” she tells E! Online’s Marc Malkin, referring to her show, Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami, which debuts this Sunday.
Look who was sitting front and center with the rest of the players’ wives at a recent New York Yankees game! Kate Hudson, who has been dating Yankees star Alex Rodriguez, seemed right at home with the ladies, even joining them afterwards for martinis at stadium eatery NYY Steak.
The 30-year-old Fools Gold star has been a fixture at both the home and away games since she and A-Rod hooked up, traveling to Miami and Toronto to cheer on the team. She even brought her parents Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell along to a recent game in New York.
“Sitting on the front row, Kate goes nuts when she watches him play,” a source tells People. “Her excitement and cheering are infectious.”
According to the new issue of In Touch, things between the pair, who met last November in Miami Beach, are getting very serious: The magazine quotes a friend of the actress as saying that Kate has already broached the topic of babies with her ballplayer beau!
According to a friend, parenthood brings the couple closer together; Kate has 5-year-old son Ryder with her ex Chris Robinson, while Alex is dad to daughters Natasha, 4, and Ella, 1, from his previous marriage.
“They have their young kids in common, and are really having fun,” says the source.

Thanks to Mary-Louise Parker’s perfect portrayal, her character Nancy Botwin on the Showtime hit Weeds has joined a select group of television’s most memorable moms. The self-absorbed pot-selling widow is a far cry from June Cleaver, of course. And she’s certainly a far cry from Mary-Louise herself, who tells Chatelaine magazine that her most important role these days is that of a doting mom to her two kids William, 5, and Caroline “Ash,” 2.
Reflecting on her own South Carolina childhood, the actress says, “My childhood wasn’t fun. My parents are amazing; I just didn’t come along at a time when there was joy.”
Now a single mom – she split from William’s dad, actor Billy Crudup, while pregnant and adopted Ash in 2007 – Mary-Louise seems set on filling her family with as much fun as she can. Case in point: She spent the morning of the interview building cardboard castles with the kids and then roasting marshmallows in the fireplace of their New York home, and arrived to meet the reporter covered in shiny, colorful stickers courtesy of her son.
“When I left today, he kissed my hand on both sides and made me promise not to take them off,” she explains.
At 45 years old, Mary-Louise is still a relative newbie to motherhood. Though she always knew she wanted kids, she’s the first to admit that she wasn’t cut out to be a young mom, saying, “My early twenties? Forget it. That girl shouldn’t have had a child. She shouldn’t have even had her own mailbox.”
Though she seems a natural now, like most moms Mary-Louise says there is always room for improvement: “I have my little family,” she muses. “It’s not perfect. I wish it were more perfect. I always want everyone to have a good time.”
