Soccer star Fernando Torres and wife Olalla Dominguez have welcomed their first child – a baby girl! Nora was born Monday, June 8 in Santiago Compostela, Spain at 10:20 a.m., weighing in at 3 kilos, 7 grams.
Olalla had a natural birth, despite having to be induced and the doctor, a family friend of the new mother, declared the baby “in perfect condition”. Fernando is staying at the hospital with his wife.
Fernando hired extra security for the hospital to ensure their privacy and the couple spent ten days prior to the birth keeping a low profile at Olalla’s parent’s house. Fernando’s parents have arrived from Madrid to visit their grandchild.
The proud new parents were married in May.

Dressed in a grey maternity dress, 39-year-old Grey’s Anatomy star, Ellen Pompeo, and husband Chris Ivery were seen carrying around the blueprints to their new home as they walked around their Los Angeles neighborhood on Wednesday morning (July 8).
Production for the sixth season of Ellen’s hit ABC medical drama is set to resume filming in less than two weeks. The producers will have to figure out a way to work around Ellen’s pregnancy. Our suggestion: a McBaby!
Regarding the filming situation, E! News’ Kristin Dos Santos said, “Well, if ABC doesn’t want a Griffiths-less B&S, you could assume (just assume) that they really wouldn’t want a Pompeo-less Grey’s Anatomy. Pompeo’s due this fall though, so there would be no real way to push back production. When E.P. [Ellen Pompeo] gets back from her baby break, shoot a bunch of Meredith Grey scenes in succession, and then have your editors work overtime to slot her scenes into the episodes that were shot/produced before her return, therefore giving the audience the full Meredith Grey experience with no gaps.”View Slideshow »»
Any Lost fans out there? Matthew Fox, who plays Dr. Jack Shephard on the hit ABC show, was spotted doing some sightseeing in Rome, Italy yesterday with his wife Margherita, their 8-year-old son Byron and his mom.
The group took in several of the city’s attractions, including the spectacular Colosseum.
The Fox family, which also includes 11-year-old daughter Kyle, have been splitting their time between Hawaii and LA while Matthew films Lost, but he says they’ll relocate to Oregon once the show wraps up next year.
“I have a lot of family there now,” Matthew told Good Morning America earlier this year. “My brothers have kids, and we’ve been talking for ten years about living closer to each other so that our kids can have good first cousin relationships.”View Slideshow »»

“As long as she is talented enough and passionate about doing it herself then I will be happy and support her.
