Madonna, who is currently visiting Malawi, Africa, just kicked off the first brick laying of the Raising Malawi Academy for Girls. The Queen of Pop is also taking four days to visit orphanages in the area, and brought along her daughters, Lourdes, 13, and Malawi-born Mercy, 4, today (April 8.)

Actress Kirstie Alley, 59, has spent much of her life on the big and small screen, starring in hits like Look Whos Talking, and the much loved sitcom Cheers. More recently the mom-of-two has found herself thrust into the spotlight less for her acting ability, and more for her weight ups and downs. In an interview with Ladies Home Journal, Alley opens up about the public fascination with her weight, her love for her family and friends, her commitment to Scientology, and why she loves Twitter.
How suffering a miscarriage triggered weight gain in the 80’s: “It was the first time I ever gained weight. I went from 118 to around 135 and the press began talking, which was weird because I was still thin.”

Suri Cruise kept her toes toasty in a pair of pig slippers as she and her mom Katie Holmes left their apartment and headed to an indoor play center at Chelsea Piers in New York today (April 8). The mother-daughter duo, who were without dad Tom Cruise, ran into a pack of paparazzi along the way.

She has three grown daughters from her previous marriage, but it sounds as though Demi Moore is ready to dive back into diaper duty.
The 47-year-old Charlie’s Angel star tells the UK’s Elle magazine that she and her handsome hubby Ashton Kutcher would love to have children together.
“We talk about it and it’s something that we would like,” Demi says. “He’s an amazing father to my daughters already, so I have no doubt that if it’s in our future, it would be another incredible part of our journey together.”
As for Ashton, 32, he has embraced his role as a stepdad to Demi and her ex Bruce Willis‘ daughters Rumer, 21, Scout, 18, and Tallulah, 15, and has said in the past, “I feel like I have three kids, and we’ll see whether we’re given another child.”
When it comes to raising her 2-year-old daughter, Harlow, and her 7-month old son, Sparrow, mama Nicole Richie has gone green!
“Nicole is obsessed with doing everything she can to try to keep her children healthy and safe,” a friend of star tells Life & Style, adding that Nicole is constantly searching through books and the internet for the latest parenting news.
[She] insists on everything being organic. The food, the diapers, the clothing. She’s always at Whole Foods.
