Usher & Son Are Peaceful Travelers

Usher & Son Are Peaceful Travelers

What a little cutie! Usher was seen arriving at LAX carrying his 1 1/2-year-old son Usher Raymond V and an Elmo doll on Saturday. The 30-year-old singer flashed the peace sign to photographers before leaving. Mom is Usher’s wife, Tameka Foster. The couple just welcomed their second son, Naviyd Ely Raymond, on December 10.

Usher said he is thrilled to be father at this point in his life: “I’m so proud to be a father by the time I’m 30. I’d hate to be 80 years old and not be able to run with my kids. I need to still be able to do flips when they’re in high school!”

Marcia & The Twins: Westwood Weekenders

Marcia & The Twins: Westwood Weekenders

Desperate Housewives star Marcia Cross was seen with her 2-year-old fraternal twin daughters, Eden and Savannah (red hoodie), out at the Westwood Market on Sunday.

The 47-year-old mother of two recently shared her top parenting tip: “I would say use humour instead of getting into that whole yes and no thing all the time. Because obviously they have a free will and they want to do what they want – it’s about just getting them to laugh rather than getting in power struggles. Then they develop a sense of humour and that’s been a great thing for me. I’m not one for thinking I’ve mastered motherhood but I have found that works really well.”

Heidi Klum On Pregnancy & Parenting

Heidi Klum On Pregnancy & Parenting

Heidi Klum, 35, and her husband Seal recently broke the happy news that they’re expecting baby #4! The model mom chatted with US magazine about how kids Leni, almost 5, Henry, 3, and Johan, 2, are reacting to the pregnancy – and why they’re all hoping for a girl!

On explaining the pregnancy to her 3 kids: “Our children each have beautiful black-and-white photos of me being pregnant with them in their rooms. They’ll say, ‘Here is when I was in Mama’s belly!’ But because Leni is 5, I’ll show her an ultrasound and say, ‘This is the nose, these are the arms.’ I’ll explain how they put jelly on the belly and have a machine to look inside. And she’ll say, ‘They cut the belly open, Mama?’ ‘No, they can see through the belly!’ I’m definitely going to take her along next time! It’s a very hard concept for them. It’s like being on a car ride and asking, ‘Are we there yet? Are we there yet?’”

On hoping for a girl: “We’d be happy with either, but it would be a lie if I said we all weren’t hoping for a little girl — especially Leni because she would love to have a little sister. She’ll say, ‘I hope it’s a girl so she can be in my room, and I’m going to help you and I’m going to change the diapers and I’m going to be a really good sister.’ I don’t think the kids are jealous that a new one is coming. My kids are buddies, and they’re used to new additions. Still, I don’t know if we’ll find out the sex beforehand. In the past, we did. I’ll have to check with my husband. He always says there are so few surprises in life. This is one of them.”

On pregnancy: “It’s the most wonderful thing that your body goes through. It’s producing another human being! What a miracle. It’s never boring. Not old hat like, ‘Oh, I’ve done it three times.’ Every time is a new first time and I love it. Then the birth is just an amazing experience.”
