Motherhood may have had a profound impact on Jennifer Lopez’s life, but don’t expect her to start singing about it.
The multi-talented star, who has 22-month-old twins Max and Emme with her husband Marc Anthony, tells the January 2010 issue of Allure that despite expectations, her new songs aren’t all about “how great your life is and how it changed and how beautiful.”
That’s not to say that she hasn’t been changed by the experience of being a mom, however.
“To a certain extent, having children did change me,” the 40-year-old actress muses. “But it made me want to look at the places that I wasn’t great and learn to love myself and take care of myself more.”
Jaime Pressly was spotted departing from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) with her 2-year-old son, Dezi James, and new husband Simran Singh on Tuesday (December 15). Dezi looked as snug as a bug in his stroller covered in a blanket. Dezi’s father is Jaime’s ex-fiance, DJ Eric Calvo.
The 32-year-old My Name Is Earl star recently said that married life is amazing.

With their first child due in May, Robin says that baby preparations are already well underway.
“We’re preparing the baby room, painting rooms and picking colors. Paula’s kind of got the baby taste in the family. I’m just going to sing to it and cuddle with it and teach it how to play basketball and talk to girls.”

At four months pregnant, Bethenny Frankel is busy as ever! The 39-year-old mom-to-be is shooting The Real Housewives of New York City, will set out on tour to promote her new book, The Skinnygirl Dish, and just finished filming her first exercise DVD. Bethenny shows off her baby bump to Life & Style and chats about her pregnancy.
On if she is excited about her pregnancy: “I’m really excited. I’m starting to show a little bit. I don’t fit in my pants — it’s very liberating. Now I believe that I’m pregnant.”
On if she has gained much weight: “Five or 6 pounds, but they’re right in my stomach. A lot of people think being pregnant is one giant binge, but you should check yourself before you wreck yourself. I’m not changing the way I eat. If I eat chocolate cake at lunch, I try not to have it after dinner. By no means is it dieting, but I’m trying to maintain some sort of balance because I’ll have to deal with it later. I’m actually thinking of writing a pregnancy book. There’s no reason to gain 75 pounds.”
On if there have been any complications due to her age: “I had a scare. I had a big blood clot before three months. It was very scary. I was on bed rest.”
On if she feels like this is a miracle baby: “Absolutely a miracle. I’m not young, and I run around like a maniac. I always wanted to have kids, but I thought I’d wind up adopting or freezing my eggs. I didn’t think it would just happen at my age. Did I plan the pregnancy? No. Did I want it? Yes. I felt like there was something huge missing in my life that I hadn’t experienced yet.”
Just seven months after the arrival of her son, Joseph Michael, beach volleyball star Kerri Walsh has announced she is expecting baby no. 2!
“I’m pregnant again so I’m taking this year off,” she tells Universal Sports.
The 31-year-old two-time Olympic gold medalist, who impressed fans by returning to the game just over two months after giving birth to Joseph, is due with her second child on May 30th. She plans on taking the spring to enjoy her family:
I’ll be taking care of my family and starting to creep back into shape and I’ll be ready for the 2011 season.
Kerri and her husband, Casey Jennings, met in 2000 and were married December 4, 2005 in Palm Springs.
Congratulations to the happy couple!
