Though FOXNews.com reported earlier today that Tiger Woods’ wife Elin Nordegren was packing up her two children – Sam, 2, and Charlie, 10-months – and moving to Sweden, a new source has revealed to PEOPLE that the trio will just be travelling to Elin’s homeland for the holidays.
“Elin is going to Sweden soon,” says the source. “Two stewardesses and one pilot are in Sweden with the plane now getting it ready to come pick them up.”
Originally Elin, 29, and family were going to travel to Sweden in January, however, in light of recent events, Tiger will not being joining them.
Sources say that this holiday trip to Sweden, where Elin has recently purchased a $2.3 million residence outside Stockholm, will not be permanent and that she now plans to split her time between Sweden and the US.
“She plans to leave Tiger,” one source told PEOPLE after she was spotted in Windermere, Florida with her daughter and without her wedding ring.
Yesterday Elin told OK! Magazine that the children “are doing just fine”. We certainly hope the best for their family.
When Danny Cahill tipped the scales at 430 pounds, his wife and family staged interventions, begging him to get healthy. “I would sit on the couch, watch TV, eat tons of food… I was the worst role model for my kids,” the 40-year-old winner of The Biggest Loser tells In Touch.
“But there’s no magic word. I had to re-find my self-worth.” He said after winning The Biggest Loser, dropping a record 239 pounds. “My wife, who met me when I was 175 pounds, believed in me. She was a big reason that I was able to do it,” says Danny of Darci, who shed 65 pounds as well. “What she did was bigger than what I did at the ranch!”
Danny and Darci are making sure their two children, David, 10, and Mary Claire, 8, stay healthy. “Because when you’ve got kids, it’s not just your life you are affecting — it’s theirs,” adds Danny.
Taking a break from the big screen for a stint on Broadway, Liev Schreiber recently sat down – along with his A View from the Bridge co-star Scarlett Johansson – for an interview with Time Out New York magazine.
The dad-of-two describes how he decompresses after a grueling day of rehearsal – with a little help from his kids Sasha, 2 1/2, and Kai, 1.
“I have kids. It’s kind of amazing, actually: You go through all this stuff in rehearsal and you come home and they don’t give a crap; they just want your full attention. It’s been a total savior. [My two-and-a-half-year-old son] is like, ‘Daddeeeeee!’ and he just wants to play. You dump the baggage right away and reconnect with all these human feelings. It’s such a good hit.”
Liev’s longtime partner Naomi Watts also has a busy filming schedule, but Liev says they manage to make it work.
“Kids make a big difference,” the Wolverine star explains. “You want to be there all the time, and when you’re both working, it’s hard. You gotta negotiate with each other and support each other in that regard.”
Mom-to-be Christina Milian and her record producer husband The Dream are expecting a baby girl, OK! reports. The 28-year-old actress and model admits she’s a little anxious about the whole process.
I am nervous about giving birth to the baby. That’s probably the most nerve-wracking part of it all,” Christina adds. “Every day I wonder, ‘What happens if she comes earlier than expected?’” She adds, “As long as Dream is right next to me, I’ll be fine!”
Christina’s pals threw her a baby shower on Saturday (December 12), where guests were treated to a decadent day filled with manicures, pedicures, and makeovers. Attendees also enjoyed delicious goodies from Philippe West Hollywood and bite-sized cupcakes from Famous Cupcakes.
Things have gone from bad to worse for troubled rocker, Courtney Love. Not only did she recently lose legal control over her daughter Frances Bean Cobain, TMZ reports that a judge has now issued a restraining order, prohibiting Courtney from having any direct or indirect contact with the 17-year-old.
The restraining order comes after an online rant by mommy dearest.
I hate to sound cold but any kid of mine who pulls this s**t has lost her position…” Love, 45, rants on her Facebook page. “She was deceptive, she lied and she’s lying to herself… My daughter is not always honest.”
As we reported two days ago, a judge created a temporary guardianship on behalf of Frances Bean. The legal guardians are Wendy O’Connor, Kurt Cobain’s mom, and Kimberly Dawn Cobain, Kurt’s sister.
A hearing is set for January 5.
