Kate Moss, cover model of the Spring Fashion 2009 issue of New York Magazine, confirms she is not pregnant and discusses her new fashion line. Her debut Kate Moss for Topshop line was a huge success, which “sold out on the spot.” The new collection will arrive in New York retail stores this coming spring. Take a look at her fresh perspectives:
On pregnancy rumors and her body: “I’ve just started wearing bras. It’s a miracle. Great timing for my lingerie collection. I am a woman now. It’s true. Honestly, I’ve never worn a bra in my life. Ever! It’s so awful, even my friends are phoning me up and saying, ‘Are you pregnant? And I’m like ‘No! I just put on a couple of pounds and they went in the right place.”
On starting her fashion line: “I’m not a designer. I’ve never been to school or been trained. I can’t draw a dress, really. But I know what I like. I love clothes. I know how clothes should fit and feel. When I go to shoots, stylists would say to me, ‘You really should do something. You should take it another step.’ Now I know what is possible and what we can do, which is a lot. It’s really just making things that I want: the little sundresses that I always wanted, the little bus-stop dresses that I always cut too short and now I can’t wear anymore. Now I make them a couple of inches longer. Even before I started modeling, I was cutting up flares and making miniskirts.”
On designing vs. modeling: “It’s not just turning up and doing a job. Because turning up on a modeling call – I still enjoy it, but it doesn’t get me going.”
Jade Goody’s mother Jackiey Budden was spotted taking Jade’s sons, 5-year-old Bobby Jack and 4-year-old Freddie, fitted for suits to wear at their mother’s upcoming wedding to Jack Tweed. Tweed, 21, was recently given an early release from prison despite being jailed for 18 months last September for attacking a teenager with a golf club. The following day, Jackiey was pictured taking Bobby Jack and Freddie to visit their mother in hospital.
Jade, 27, just received devastating news last week that she is terminally ill and only has a few months to live. Jade’s friend and publicist Max Clifford confirmed the news: “She was informed yesterday that tragically, she’s terminally ill. She was obviously devastated.”
Clifford went on to confirm that Goody and Tweed plan to wed this weekend: “I spoke to Jade last night and it is all on for Sunday.” Clifford added that Jade is excited about the upcoming nuptials: “I’m hoping I will have the strength to walk on my big day. It would be so cruel to be robbed of that one last thing as well,” Goody said.
Goody was diagnosed with cervical cancer last August, which has since spread to her liver, bowels and groin.
Our hearts go out to Jade and her boys during this difficult time.

With three young kids underfoot, busy mom Julia Roberts says, “I will never be bored again.”
Julia, 41, is featured on the cover of the March issue of Allure and tells the magazine,
“Danny and I talk about, ‘What did we do with all the time we must have had?’ Because you don’t recognize it as such, until you have all these little… time thieves running around your house.”
Julia and her husband Danny Moder’s “time thieves” are twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, 4, and son Henry, 20 months.
The Erin Brockovich star admits that sometimes the day-to-day of family life can “lose its luster a little bit,” but leaves no doubt that she adores her husband and kids.
“The coolest thing you can do for your children is to love each other in their presence,” she says. “I’m the luckiest girl in town, I really am.”
Julia will soon be back on the big screen alongside Clive Owen in Duplicity.
