David Duchovny & Madelaine Take A Stroll

David Duchovny was seen picking up his 10-year-old daughter, Madelaine West, from school on the upper east side of New York City on Tuesday (November 3). Little brother, 7-year-old Kyd Miller, and mama Téa Leoni were not seen with the duo.

The 49-year-old X-Files star – who checked himself into a rehabilitation facility for treating a sex addiction last year – recently said that “everything is great” at the Leoni-Duchovny household.

Debi Mazar: Being An Actor Is A Roller Coaster Ride

Debi Mazar: Being An Actor Is A Roller Coaster Ride

From cooking fresh Italian meals with husband Gabriele Corcos and their two young daughters Evelyn, 7, and Giulia, 3, to making “me time” a priority and not being ashamed to ask for help, Debi Mazar is one celeb mom to learn from! Debi – a regular on the popular TV series Entourage – sat down with Celebrity Baby Scoop and dished about parenting two “strong characters,” play dates with her close friend Madonna, her stint on DWTS and what it’s really like to be an actress, along with her best tips for us busy moms.

CBS: Have you ever had a frazzled mom moment?

DM: “Honestly, I have a frazzled mom moment everyday!! I have 2 daughters with strong characters. Today’s drama was dressing warm in the morning. I chose a school with a uniform for this reason (well for many reasons – education being the first, but I needed less drama in the morning when it came to dressing). Now, she doesn’t like undershirts. I yelled a lot this morning, which made me cry. I felt awful about it. I tried to contain myself, but I want her to be warm, not get sick. I needed to win this one. It is hard to see their faces sad from me being the disciplinarian, but it is part of learning for them and for me! My kids force me to learn patience and I am a better, and more evolved person because of it. And they will understand one day. This is all textbook. There is not family that is drama-less. If there is one, I assure you there will be problems down the road. Communication is essential.”

CBS: You have been in 5 of Madonna‘s music videos including Papa Don’t Preach and Justify My Love. Are you and Madonna friends? What is it like working with the Queen of Pop? Will you be working with her in the future? Have your kids had play dates together?

Appaman: Urban Designer Wear For Kids

Appaman has been favored by a long list of celebrity parents since its launch in 2003. Inspired by the "mean streets of Brooklyn" Appaman's Fall & Winter 2009 collection has caused such a stir, some of the pieces are already sold out!

I'm not one to buy countless outfits for my girls as it can get expensive so I really appreciated how all of the pieces in each collection intermingled and worked so well together!

My 9-month old daughter looks city chic in her Princess Kitten Tee paired with the Cloud Cardigan, Black Leggings and Lipstick Punker Cord Skirt. I have interchanged all of the items creating 4 different looks.

The selection for boys is also very impressive. Its no wonder Appaman has become such a wardrobe staple for the children of Gwen Stefani, Victoria Beckham, Liv Tyler, Gwenyth Paltrow, Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt.

Just last week we saw Ryder Robinson wearing Appaman's Black Puffy Coat while out for a stroll in New York City with his mom Kate Hudson.

From funky coats to hip denim and graphic tees, Appaman delivers urban and edgy designer wear for cool kids. Be sure to check out their website for a list of in-store and online retailers!

Milla Jovovich: Parents Need To Take Responsibility For What Kids Watch

Milla Jovovich: Parents Need To Take Responsibility For What Kids Watch

Currently reprising her role as Alice in the sci-fi thriller, Resident Evil: Afterlife, model mom Milla Jovovich knows a thing or two about Hollywood violence. The 33-year-old actress chatted to Parade magazine about how her life has changed since the birth of her gorgeous daughter Ever Gabo, who turns 2 tomorrow, and why she thinks parents need to take more responsibility for what their kids see in theaters and video games.

On how motherhood has changed her: “Before you have kids, you create so many problems that are centered in yourself. You’re thinking, Am I ready for this audition? Am I good enough? Now that I have a kid, it’s not such a big deal. Even if I don’t get the job, I know I’m going to be really busy at home. Being a mother to my daughter, Ever, is a full-time job. Now it’s all about my baby, her growing up well and getting everything she needs. Everything else is just a plus.”

On her advice to parents: “You’ve got to know your kids like the back of your hand and make sure they’re honest with you and not scared to tell you things. I know when Ever goes to school I’ll be letting my little bird go, but I just want to make sure she tells me everything that happened, good or bad.”
