“I think that whatever it is, a food allergy or some other case, we don’t know yet,” Kaplan told E!. “We’re pleased that someone was aware enough to see that he was having some sort of reaction and do what was necessary to make sure there were no chances taken and got Jayden to the appropriate facility and got the appropriate evaluation to be timely.”
He also added that Kevin, who has sole custody of Jayden and his big brother Sean, 3, does not plan to call an investigation about it,
“We’re not going to jump to conclusions right now. I don’t anticipate there being a hearing,” Kaplan said. “I anticipate that Kevin and Britney as concerned parents will exchange information and satisfy themselves that what happened was a freak occurrence and do what they have to do to make sure that it doesn’t happen again.”
And while Kevin was reportedly on his way to Louisiana, he decided not to go,
“Kevin was considering going to Louisiana, but the information that we had was Jayden was already checked out,” Kaplan explained. “The kids will be back with Kevin shortly, not yet.”
Jayden left the hospital Monday night, and by Tuesday was visiting an alligator farm in Louisiana with his family.

Barack Obama may be the new president, but when it comes to parent-teacher meetings, ballet recitals and reading Harry Potter with his girls, he says he’s just like the rest of us.
The new issue of Us Weekly details the special bond between Obama and his daughters, Malia, 10, and Sasha, 7, and how the President-elect acts like a modern dad too: sharing parenting duties, attending school conferences and scheduling the occasional date night with his wife and “best friend”, Michelle.
During the campaign, Michelle proudly said that Barack is a dedicated family man,
“He’s an incredible husband and father. Not sure if the world knows yet, but they should!”
A former colleague of Michelle’s, Paul Schmitz, added: “The Obamas are true to their word when they say they’re going to balance work and family.”
Earlier this week, Michelle began visiting potential schools for the girls. And even though they’ll have a personal chef, movie theater, and other perks in the White House, they’ll still be focusing on, “homework, chores, dance and soccer,” Michelle said before the election,
“We have to put [the children's] education…first,” Michelle has said. Barack agreed and added “I think I’m a pretty cool dad.”
Angelina Jolie recently sat down with LA Times to talk about her critically acclaimed performance in her new film Changeling. The 33-year-old actress also opened up about her high-profile family and her career choices now that she is a mother.
On her recent return from a mission in Afghanistan where she met with poverty-stricken families as a goodwill ambassador for the U.N.: “I woke up at 3 in the morning with four kids with jet lag and two babies. I put myself together for a few hours and go out. And then I go home. This is my job.” While trying not to sound ungrateful about Hollywood, she added, “I don’t dislike it here, I just really do love to travel. I love other cultures. And I love raising my kids in the world. I’m so fortunate that I get to do that.” She went on to say that her family life is what is most important to her: “The center of my life is my kids.”
On her recent role as a mother who loses her son in Changeling: “Christine fought so hard under such incredible circumstance for the rights of other women. It was a real story that I thought sent a positive message about what you can accomplish. About democracy in action.”
On the fact that Changeling is her fourth-consecutive mom-centric film: “I don’t think it’s a choice of mine as much as it is something women deal with when we get older. A woman in her 30s is more likely to have roles that in some way relate to family.” She added “I got pregnant right in the middle of it and I think partially because of it,” she said, smiling. “I was so emotional about children that I think something in me kicked into gear.”
